Most of my party had pizza, which was quite good. I had a shrimp special and it was delicious. Our appetizers were grilled octopus as well as mushroom torts. As an Italian restaurant, they offer northern Italy cuisine. They don't really have the standard pasta...fare. It's much more interesting than that.More

Prime is one of those places that I will always return to. Happy Hour, quick bit, full dinner...I've done them all, and will keep on doing it. This time my friend and I stopped in for a light dinner, and as always had a great...time. The melon and burrata appetizer was something out of this world! Perfect for hot summer days. Then we both went pizza route, and Carbone's has some great combinations of pizzas. My friend did chicken parm pizza and I had the mouthwatering Poached Pear pizza with truffle honey, gorgonzola cheese, crispy prosciutto. So so good! We finished the dinner off with a rich creme brule!More

This place is fabulous. We were able to get a last minute reservation. The service and food were terrific. Our table had a variety of appetizers and entrees. All very delicious. I would highly recommend trying Carbones Prime. We would definitely return for dinner.

Happy hour ends at 5:00 now. Service is not great. Seems like short handed. Egg plant parm was not good. Ziti was like reheated. Not impressed for top dollar.

On 12/31/2020 I placed my order at 230pm for 6pm pick up. Everything was ready and on time. However 3 very small crab cake patties were not worth the price. The beef wellington was medium rare when I picked it up but medium and dry...when I ate it. The au jus helped a bit. Last, the chocolate cheese cake was small and also dry. The meal cost $100 but was worth perhaps $50. Maybe sit down is better than take out.More

Saturday night. Had a reservation made by Lydia such an accommodating person. Had a table for 6 outside near the heater. The inside was quite busy but we enjoyed our drinks and dinner outside. Chelsea was our server and we couldn’t have been treated better....She was just pleasant and efficient and so patient with all our questions. She knew the entrees and drinks and was helpful with helping us choose. Highly recommend. Our evening with 2 other couples was terrific. The food was delicious. The only thing that we missed out on was the incredible aroma that is only appreciated from dining inside. Ugh covid!More

Food is always cooked to order. The filet mignon is perfectly done and melts in your mouth, many options on the menu plus daily specials. The staff is very friendly and especially helpful, and will try to accommodate any needs or requests.Best restaurant in CT

Who does a time one-hour time limit on a two-hour happy hour? A racist acting and/or narcissistic acting young female manager who brags “my family owns the restaurant.” Good thing they do otherwise you probably wouldn’t have a job. Or perhaps discriminates against people with...physical disabilities or perhaps both? The level of unapologetic discourtesy and narcissism was unbelievable.
