Bread and pastries such as this cannot be found in many places unless you want to travel miles. We just returned from Disney where you can't get a fresh brioche ANYWHERE even in the French pavillion at EPCOT (used to be sold at the Swan hotel small bakery kiosk, now in order to have one with a cup of coffee... The baker is a French transplant and bakes all the bread and goodies in a traditional manner. The bread is only flour, salt and yeast. The only place to get the traditional loaf called the "Epi". Pastries are buttery and great as well.

La Brioche Bakery makes great French Breads. Nice a crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They make three to four different shapes along with rolls. The ingredients in the breads all seem to be the same since they taste the same. They also offer a variety of pastries.

Many Sundays after church, we stop to get a fresh bread for our family dinner. If we are lucky, there might be some day old pastry available!

REAL french bread and nice croissants and pastry. Their chocolate croissants are wonderful. If they dry out, stick them in a toaster oven for a second and they come right back.

this wonderfull woman baked me a cake fit for a king. I learned something about the history of the cake and she learned about the new 1880's style of King Cake.

The bakery recently opened across from the town green and is my new favorite lunch time destination. There is always a great selection of pastry, cakes, and breads to choose from, the prices are more than reasonable, and the baker is very accommodating. I've been systematically sampling all that the bakery offers and have yet to be disappointed. I'm so... More

I went to the bakery at the recommendation of a friend, who knew I was looking for a good pastry. Initially the neighborhood, a bit run-down, threw me off, but when I stepped inside and saw the tiers of mini cakes and pastries, as well as smelled the crusty baguettes, I knew I was in the right place. The sampling... More
