Excellent homemade food , locally sourced. Friendly staff , I can't say anything bad , just book as is always busy when ever I go. Try the homemade quiche it's to die for. This is a lovely place to go have lunch or breakfast and after wonder around the craft shop.

This is a high quality, classic craft centre restaurant providing an ample sized breakfast with wonderful, polite and helpful staff. Afternoon tea is extremely good too. If you're looking for cheaper, lower quality larger meals I suggest you go elsewhere. The cakes are outstanding and there are sufficient gluten free options. Lunch is a must, but book in advance.

This was a first visit to the venue and I found it very pleasant. The menu is varied and makes good use of the fantastic array of great local produce. I am a big fan of any venue that promotes the use of locally sourced ingredients rather than using the big retailers. I agree with a previous reviewer in the... More

I was initially really impressed with the cafe, it was buzzing and felt warm and inviting. I met a friend who was already there and my order was taken quickly. I ordered a jacket potato with ham and cheese. It arrived quickly and looked lovely on salad. The ham was delicious, the cheese was grated and was measly in quantity... More

We - 4 in number, visited this revamped restaurant hearing good reviews. It was busy and the staff were welcoming and served us as soon as possible. The menu was extensive and a variety was chosen - after a lengthy wait our food arrived. I had ordered meat pie and the portion was a triangle about 30 mm wide at... More

It was a pleasant surprise to learn that the cafe had been extended and revamped. Lovely selection of cakes - including gluten free, although having had lunch I didn't have room - next time! I had the veggie quiche of the day and my husband had pie of the day - both were homemade and delicious! The accompanying salad with... More

Was my first visit to Oad Street since the takeover, the cafe has now been extended & updated for the better. Service was very busy & we had to wait to be seated. Staff were very pleasant. Food was excellent we had cream tea for two. Tea was loose leaf & tasted amazing. Service was swift. It was quite noisy.... More

Lovely cafe arrived late in the afternoon, staff very friendly and welcoming. My husband said best tea and cake he had ever had. Cakes were all imaginative and fresh. Very pleasant young man behind the counter happy to share cooking tips for the amazing looking gypsy tart. Sadly couldn't indulge as on Slimming World - took a lot of willpower!... More

This cafe is worth a visit it is actually more like a barn setting. Good food and nice atmosphere a lovely place for lunch. Going back this week for a cream tea which was a Christmas present can't wait!
