Consistently great food and service. They always have daily specials, but every item on their menu is prepared skillfully and with great attention to detail. The best short ribs I have ever had, and their pizzas are wonderful!

This place was recommended by a local patron and I had dinner the other night. Excellent service at the bar and the table. Great menu and ordered specials for the entree which was very good. Good selection of top shelf liquor and has a very warm ambience. I was pleasantly surprised at the portions you get so please order carefully... More

I had the caesar salad then the gnocchi and it was so delicious and the ambience was really nice. They also have gluten free options. The service was friendly and helpful. Such a fabulous place!

This restaurant is open when others often are not, so it would be great if it were consistent. Soggy, defrosted, tasteless shrimp, soggy coleslaw. The food has potential, but they need a revamp of the basic menu. I hope they can make some changes.

I visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening specifically because it said it was open later than other Ridgefield restaurants. First, the positive: both the food and the atmosphere were good, so no complaints there. My main issue is how rude one of the employees was (he appeared to be a manager, or maybe even the owner). Toward the end... More

Went to dinner with friends on a Thursday evening before a performance at ridgefield playhouse. We all thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Our waiter was exceptional too. Would definitely go again.

Really enjoyed friendly staff especially in the bar which is this great back-lit quartz stone design. Bartender Cristin was very friendly yet professional.....obviously knew her craft! My brother and I dine out frequently and found the food and cocktails top shelf....will be back! C from Redding

Years ago, the space now occupied by the Cellar Door was a bank branch set on a back alley parking lot in downtown Ridgefield. Hooray, the useless bank branch is gone. In its stead is the upscale Cellar Door. Cellar Door has made good use of its space. It has created a small outdoor seating area w white painted fencing... More

Very disappointed. Horrible pizza. This was my first time there and the pizza made me sick. They put tons of lettuce on it. Not what i had in mind. Not only did it not taste good but it was way over priced. I wont be going back.
