My dad wanted to go to Sam the Clam. We had never been but everyone told us it was good so we said yes. I will admit, I cannot get past the layers of gunk and grime on the table. It was a turn off...More

Our friends ordered clam strips & fish and chips which were very good . We had the misfortune to order the clam chowder , with no visible clams to be found , and no taste whatsoever. The Bowl was more like a cup (just as...More

Voices definitely carry for a very small space, 10 people will sound as though 50 or diners. I ordered the spicy fried shrimp, which you could taste a Cajun type seasonings but it wasn't spicy at all even though I ordered the shrimp to be...More

Rather rustic and very informal dinning areas, the food was fresh but lots of deep fried selections. Better to wait till spring/summer to eat outdoors. Good scallops!

Seafood dishes are great, fresh and good portion size for fair price. Full service bar. Service was good and friendly.

Didn't really enjoy our meals here on a Friday night. Tried the fish and chips and also a burger. Nothing was very tasty and really can't say we enjoyed our meal.

Stopped here with my son after visiting micro-breweries in the area. Started with steamers. Whole belly clams lived up to their stellar reviews. My son couldn't finish all of the fish & chips. Good beer selection. Nice bar. Great atmosphere. We'll be back.

good food ,and always a bit eccentric .The staff is great ,and the fish is always good. Not a big fan of whole belly clams ,despite growing up on the cape ,but for fried food you cant get better in the area.

Ordered a seafood platter to go. It was excellent. We went to a local park and had a picnic. The whole belly clams were as good or better than any we've had. The portion was large enough for the two of us with some left...More
