This venue is located at the Southington Country Club, serving as a local gathering place. We were told there were no reservations accepted so first come first serve. It was early on a Friday night, and the parking lot was packed. There is a large...outdoor area which is also first come first serve and that was standing room only. Our intimate group of five was accommodated inside the large venue, featuring a very large active and happening bar. We were seated quickly and given menus promptly. The waitress was extremely polite however it took forever to get our drinks, then to order our meals, and then to finally get our meals—There seem to be a lot of staff buzzing around but for whatever reason, we were left to wait around a lot! The fair was typical pub food, and the menu quite large. We all opted for quick easy meals and quite honestly, I speak for the group when I say we actually all enjoyed our choices very much. We started with eggplant fries which were incredibly tasty, perfectly flash fried. I opted for the turkey burger with American cheese – – it usually comes with avocado and special sauce both of which really added to the flavor. Lightly spiced fries on the side were crispy and memorable. My one regret was it took so incredibly long to get my meal, I wanted to but simply didn’t have the time to finish my food before we had to leave.
