Looking for somewhere to eat on Thursday night, place was almost empty except a table of 4 guys that we were placed directly next to when restaurant had every other table to seat us at, uncomfortable because we heard their entire conversations, tables were so...close, we lifted our table and moved it. I asked waiter if chicken sandwich was very “hot”/spicy & he said “only a little…it was so spicy I could barely eat it….took at least 25 minutes to serve to chicken sandwich and salad….bar at a bunch of people at it…can’t imagine this restaurant staying in business much longer…..prices were not even high…More

Impressed both by the quality of the meat and the choices in constructing your own burger. Otherwise be prepared for TV screens with sports everwhere. Had come previosuly for the World Cup which was useful--decent bar to watch the game while we ate.

Great food, excellent craft beer selection and an incredibly friendly staff makes this place a neighborhood favorite for me. Highly recommended.

Prime 16, in one of the many strip malls dotting Route 1 in Orange, seems to have a steady following. The restaurant is divided into two sections: a busy bar area and a dimly lit dining room. In both areas, the service is very good...with a caring manager and attentive servers. The bar, which is the main attraction, has multiple, and original, beer choices. As you might expect, the food is mainly "pub grub" though the variety of burgers seems endless and includes a "build your own burger" option. I opted for a Cubano sandwich which was tasty, but catered to a far larger appetite than mine. There is no skimping on ingredients for sure: the pulled pork was of good quality as was the ham slice and bacon. It would easily satisfy two people. I enjoyed the 60's background music, and a quick look at the bar revealed happy customers in a frat house setting. The only thing missing was beer pong. The dining room is a study in contrast: it's dark and depressing with dated wood paneling with a shaded bank of windows looking out at the parking lot and the busy Boston Post Road. Prime 16 is not fine dining, but it is a friendly, unassuming after work haunt and should be judged by what it is. Be attentive to parking because the neighbors to the right are not friendly and will tow.More

Stopped in for lunch with friends. The menu has expanded since our last time here. Many choices...almost too many. We had the steak bomb and lamb burger. Excellent! Waitstaff was efficient and cordial. Great craft beer selection also. Try it.

Stop by this restaurant for a quick lunch. They did not disappoint. Cannot wait to visit again soon. I had the steak sandwich with a side salad. The dressing was delish. My cousin had the Pulled pork sandwich. The presentation and taste were absolutely delicious!...Yummy 😋More

While the burgers are REALLY good...had the New Yorker...my drink was one of the worse I've ever had in a restaurant. Ordered a Margarita and what they put in front of me was an 'on the rocks' glass with ice right to the top and...very little 'drink'. Definitely not what you would expect.More

I ordered bottled water, and my server repeated back what I said to her, so I know she heard me, but then she brought me tap water. Another server came to my table to re-fill the ketchup bottle, which did not need re-filling because it...was full, and his body odor was so offensive, I had to turn my head away until he left. He proceeded to try to flirt with me and I ignored him. Then my food arrived, the honey truffle burger was delicious. I ordered dessert, but it was not as described on the menu. There were no sliced strawberries on top. I asked my server about it, and she said the strawberries are inside the cake. Okay, whatever. The restaurant was almost empty on a weekend night, only two other people besides me. Now I know why. The lighting is also too dark, I need to see my food. I won't be back.More

The burgers are amazing - a really great selection even unusual ones you won't probably find anywhere else. Staff is nice and helpful. Servings are plentiful. You can get items that are more healthy choices if you are looking for that. Never had room to...have dessert but the apps are good also. Worth the tripMore

First time here, as we were visiting with our family from out of town. It was our granddaughters choice for dinner on her birthday. In my opinion, it was a pretty good dining experience. We all had some type of burger, and they were grilled...to perfection. The portions were a good size, and most shareable. The craft beer selection was excellent. Our waiter was attentive, although some of the orders were wrong. Not a big deal, and all was well at the end of our evening.More

Prime 16 Orange is a beer lover's happy hour fantasy (which is solely what I am basing this review on). You get the experience of Prime 16 without needing to venture into New Haven and skip the throngs of crowds. I have been to happy...hour here several times now and honestly it's never crowded. My husband who has frequented many more times with coworkers can also attest to this. The taps are diverse and plentiful and for $4 a pour at happy hour for a quality microbrew no other establishment can hold a candle. There are over 40 taps that feature breweries ranging from CT to Canada to across the country. You can fill up on several $5 apps as a meal - I personally would recommend trying the fried pickles (lovely thick crispy breading nestled around a light and sweet pickle and finger lickin' good dipping sauce) and the buffalo dumplings (crunchy dumplings filled with a chicken buffalo dip medley served with token carrots, celery, and sauce). The fried mozzarella was not greasy and also decent. Portions for the apps are an economical value. The staff have always been friendly and attentive. If you love Prime 16 New Haven or have always wanted to give it a try this sister location is an awesome suburban alternative.More
