There was a great selection of brunch food. Something for everyone. Cheese, salads, drinks, meat, vegetables, deserts, pasta and plenty of it. The wait staff was very attentive to our needs. When we asked them to turn down the volume of the music, it was promptly done.

Don't waste your time going to the Bear and Grill. It's filthy inside, with horrible staff and food.

Last night my man wanted to take me to the outback but instead we decided to try Bear and Gill in orange. I seen a sign for lobserfest and I got very excited. When it was our time to order a drink I looked at the speciality drinks and I asked the waitress what was a good drink to order... More

This is the worst place to dine-they should close their doors. Food was cold - pot pie like soup /rb

I really want to like this place. The look is great but that's all. This was our third visit and final try to get a great meal. On our first visit our prime rib came out with 2 minutes. Not a good sign for freshness. On our last visit we sat in the bar for a long time until our... More

We were traveling on a Sunday around noon to New Haven to bring my son back to college and found what we thought would be a nice stop for a decent burger or lunch-time sandwich. As we walking in we were herded into the breakfast/brunch area and were expected to order from the pricy buffet line. We asked to order... More

My husband and I were in town to visit my brother, and we were looking for a place that we hadn't been. The main drag in Orange has hundreds of options for dining, from Applebee's to Japanese hibachi. The Bear and Grill jumped out at me, as I am fond of rustic, woodsy decor and home style tradition. Beautiful restaurant,... More

Sad. very sad. We did look at the reviews and knew there was some risk in coming here. Unfortunately, we got burned. The experience was not pleasant. The food itself, sub-par. The feel of the place, dirty, dingy. But what drives this down to a "1" is the 'bogus" $3 service fee for alcohol when no one in the party... More

We went there for a birthday celebration. Great family restaurant. Kids eat free on Wednesdays. The tables and seating arrangement is very comfortable. I had a great Gorgonzola salad with cranberries, walnuts and topped with the most delicious grilled salmon. The wait staff was very accommodating and gave special attention to the children. Next time I would like to try... More

I have eaten at this restaurant several times and always had a pleasant experience, until yesterday. Stopped with two adults and a child for lunch. The wait for our food was about 30 minutes when there was only one other table occupied. When they brought out my daughters food it was 5 small fish nuggets on a large plate! We... More

Rustic Adirondack Bar & Grill. The Bear & Grill offers a casual American menu with regional specials, with most items including desserts and breads made fresh daily.Decor and ambiance is fun and casual. It evokes images of a bygone era of the great camps and lodges of the Adirondacks, complete with a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, split logs and twigs, massive antler chandeliers, camping memorabilia, and our own Log Cabin bar.
