It was a last minute decision and we were so lucky to get a great table. The restaurant filled up quickly after we got there. I would definitely recommend reservations. The menu Had great selections with full or petite sizes. I had the petite pasta with clams. The size was perfect and taste was wonderful. Tried to avoid eating the... More

This restaurant and its owners are great. I come here every time I go back home to Old Saybrook. They have great choices on the menu, and they always have great specials. The best thing is that they offer a petite and entree portion of all their dinners. They have indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a bar. I... More

This restaurant is a great place for anything from a night out on the town with your significant other, to a family dinner, or just a quick drink at the bar. The food is great, and there are always good specials. I would recommend the eggplant parmesan when they have it. The sole milanese was also very good. I asked... More

Have visited this little place on several occasions and it never fails to delight the palate. The dining room is quite small and the bar is even smaller but staff is friendly and accommodating and the food is very good. On this visit I had the Scampi Bianco which was generously sized and made for two meals for me. My... More

We had dinner there--the fish was very fresh and beautifully cooked. Good Caeser salad as well. The service was good and the waitress was pleasant.

We haven't been into Rosemary & Sage for over 10 years. That visit was a "Ho Hum Shrug". Well the décor hasn't changed, but the food is much better and the wait staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I started with the calamari which was different from the usual served with a side of marinara sauce. This one had diced... More

The food was mediocre, the decor was very passe, and the thing that really did it in was that the waitress was spraying down the table beside us with an ammonia laden cleaning solution while we are trying to eat our dinner. Yikes

I stopped here for lunch last Friday with two friends while outlet shopping. I had the tomato garlic soup, very nicely flavored. I also enjoyed the Cobb salad, especially the dressing. Wait staff was attentive.

Decided to drop in on a Saturday night and found this little place to be just wonderful. The service was welcoming and warm and the food was terrific. We started with crab cakes that were tasty and not a bit greasy, and the scallop and red pepper bisque was out of this world. A Caesar salad with salmon was made... More

What a joke..And We Are Local!!!! My elderly parent went to dinner here for Valentine's Day, they sat my 70 year old mother next to the door where she was freezing as it was 5 degrees out. When she asked to be moved they said NO! My Mom ordered the NY Strip,, it was a half inch thick,, over cooked... More
