I met a friend at Pizza Works, the train-themed pizza restaurant which shares a parking lot with the Old Saybrook train station. We enjoyed a Blacksmith Salad and Ed's BBQ Chicken Pizza for dinner - so deliciously different! There is a wide variety of red and white pizzas served here, as well as, many pastas. The salads, tossed with an... More

The pizza here is very unique. If you like Pizza hut or Dominoes, don't bother. The pizza is very fresh, uses lots of wonderful ingredients, and the flavors are unique. The atmosphere is so much fun being next to the train station. They have a train platform set up inside the restaurant also.

I have been going to Pizza Works for years. Super fun atmosphere and a great menu with something for everyone. The sauce is extremely fresh tasting and I'm not sure what they do to their balsamic dressing but it is to die for!! Overall an excellent place you're sure to become a regular at!

Consistently good pizza. Great salads and beer selection. Friendly accommodating staff. If you go with the kids there are train sets on display and TV's showing arriving trains outside. Been going for years and always a good time.

The kids love coming here due to its proximity to the train station. The pizza is great and the train display keeps the kids occupied.
