I enjoyed breakfast and lunch here while staying at the hotel. The view was perfection and the service was also outstanding. My lobster roll for lunch was pretty good, but not excellent - though I loved the sweet potato fries that came with it. And breakfast was filling and yummy.

I LOVE Cioppino made with fresh scallops, shrimp, mussels etc. This dish was served with crusty toast and I was in foodie heaven. My husband had a delightful lobster roll that he was happy with. By the way, the Cioppino comes in a small or large size. Small was big enough for me. Drinks were served with a smile and... More

BRUNCH is one of my favorites. From Boston; Had to do something in Old Lyme, came here 1st. As good as all the high end brunches in Boston fancy hotels. Enjoyed the smoked salmon and shrimp. Beet salad was excellent. Tried not to eat things I can get at any brunch, I.e., eggs Benedict, sausage, bacon, etc. Butternut squash &... More

I'm a boater and I very well enjoyed our lunch at Fresh Salt. The place is filled with windows, offering many views of the ocean and the various boats in the marina. I really liked the coastal interior décor. The service was prompt, food was pretty good, and the drinks were good as well. The only thing that caught me... More

Enjoyed the lovely view at this location where the Connecticut River meets Long Island Sound. The lobster roll was warm! The malt potato chips were handmade and out of this world. Our server went above and beyond by suggesting some interesting local points of interest for the rest of our day. This restaurant was very pleasantly decorated and totally worth... More

The brunch is very overpriced for the average appetite. $40 per person for Sunday brunch, before you add drinks or tip, and $20 for a 5 year old!!

We were invited to dinner by a very good friend who frequents Fresh Salt and loves it. We were seated in a lovely window table and ordered cocktails . After looking at the great menu we ordered. That's when things went south. The table behind us for 2 were seated after us, had an app and finished their entree before... More

We had a group of six in our party and were immediately seated on our reservation. Menu & Wine list is diverse and the food was delicious. Nancy our server was very delightful and offered great suggestions. We went back for breakfast the next morning and again received great service.

We had a bday venue during brunch in one of the private rooms. Everything was fantastic the food, presentation and service. Ellen, Sara and Lisa were very helpful and responsive while I was trying to organize everything and making last minute changes. Jen was great to work with and managed a tough crowd to perfection. My only complain for this... More
