Valencia is more than a luncheria. Lunches are fantastic, but so are the appetizers, (homemade guacamole), entries, specials, and house cocktails. Nothing about this place is average, except it isn't big enough! If you plan to go during peak times (I've been hard pressed to find a non-peak time), plan ahead, be prepared to saddle up at the bar, grab... More

A hearty brunch with great cocktails to match. Make sure to get reservations in advance as it gets packed and rightfully so. Glad I don't live close anymore (a good problem to have); otherwise I'd be going here brunch lunch and dinner!!!

My friend took me here for lunch and I was not disappointed. Quite the contrary. She suggested we get the "works" plate which had one arepa, one empanada, ceviche, rice and beans, avocado and plantains. A tonnage of food for $13. It's a good way to sample a bunch of stuff, all of which was REALLY TASTY! I enjoyed absolutely... More

This place gets a lot of good reviews. Their arepas are fantastic! I just feel like arepas should be arepa priced. The empanadas are small and even in NYC you'd pay $2 for double what you get here.

Food is always very good....went for the second time IN to the restaurant, and had one of their specialty cocktails...both wife and I thought they were OK at best....so stick with beer here, the bar drinks need help. Staff is kind, welcoming.

This is a great restaurant for a date, or with a group, or solo. I often get takeout, though it's also great to stay as well. Plenty of favorite dishes. Too many to list but one that stands out is pabellon criollo which features carne mechada. Also the cocktails are among the best in town. I wish they stayed open... More

Went here with another couple. Food was tasty, not expensive, and festive atmosphere. Friendly wait staff. Authentic cuisine. Can get crowded - but it's worth the wait....

Ethnic food, well presented, well cooked, and great taste. The sangria was perhaps a little sweet, but I happen to like sweet. Some of my friends complained.
