John's Best used to be down the road about 1/2 mile towards Westport. That restaurant was large and had plenty of seating. This location has a limited seating area and is really build around a takeout venue. The food quality has not moved in over...3 years that I have been going there. Pizza have a good sauce and hold their own as a plain cheese pizza. There Chicken Parm. is very good. The offer a Sunday / Monday special as well where you can get a complete dinner for about 13 dollars. I plan on continuing to go back to John's Best -good food that will not break the budget.More

A family-owned pizzeria that makes delicious pizza. We phone ahead when taking our 3 grandkids so that the first slices are ready when we sit down. To find a pizza that all 3 kids like is not easy - but they all LOVE it here!...And we do too!More

John's Best is our go to Friday night pizza takeout joint and we love going there. They know us and treat you like a neighbor which we always appreciate. Of course the good pizza keeps us coming back too but it's nice to buy from...people who seem to really care. We decided to place the catering order with John's best for our son's High School Graduation. We ordered several trays of hot food and salad as well. The food was OUTSTANDING. Our family/guests loved it so much that pretty much everything was eaten. (sadly very little leftovers for the next day) In addition to the food being outstanding the delivery was exactly when we asked for it. The food came hot, on time, in clean trays for serving. They provided tons of their in house baked Italian bread as well. The standout dish was the Chicken Cacciatorre!!More

I found the pasta to be mushy and chicken to be like rubber. Nothing fresh about this place. Not the experience it used to be when they were located on New Cannan Ave. I threw my meal straight into the garbage. Stay clear of this...nightmare unless you want pizza which has also gone down hill!More

We decided to try the take out here because we were in the area and we really like the other restaurant in Wilton. Unfortunately, this one does not compare to the other one. My husband got a calzone with chicken, tomato and mushrooms but it...was a lot of cheese but the dough was ok. I got the lasagna and the sauce was very thin and orange rather than red so it seemed more like a ala vodka sauce rather than tomato. It really didn't have a lot of flavor but it wasn't bad. Fortunately, it came with a nice little salad and balsamic dressing. We will definitely try other Italian restaurants before going back.More

Drove into Norwalk and saw this "ristorante". I had the shrimp marinara on linguine. My wife had the salmon salad. Both dishes were excellent. The rolls were wonderful. Not fancy but real. The waitress was very pleasant too.

Pizza is fabulous. Homemade pasta is delicious. Parmigiana is also so good. We don't order from anywhere else. And they are so nice. At least every other Friday at our house.

For those of you who can't wait for the old Pasta Fair/John's Best to reopen this is a wonderful alternative to get the food you are missing.
