We have eaten at this restaurant on several occasions & always had a great meal. During Covid, we wanted to support them and ordered take out in the spring and then ate outside when the weather was warmer. Most of our meals were very good. One take out meal of fish was disappointing. It was cod and the portion was so small. Maybe 4 oz. I would rather pay a little extra and have a meal I was satisfied with. Then one warm night in August we dined outside with our daughter and grandson. About 30 minutes after ordering I asked one if the waiters when our food might be out. Shortly after a woman came out and announced to everyone on the patio that the kitchen was 130 degrees and if we didn't like waiting for our food, we could basically dine elsewhere. Maybe they need a better air conditioner in the kitchen. We thought the announcement was extremely rude and off putting.

Wood Creek Bar & Grill is lovely restaurant. It is very warm and inviting inside. I love the large bookshelf that is right next to the door and the books in every window. Ricky helped us place a take out order and he was so patient with my cousin who asks loads of questions. I really appreciated it. Their bean burger is fantastic. It is loaded with avocado on top and comes with their own home made salsa. The flavors of the burger are so good I didn't want to put anything on top like catsup or mustard to distract from the taste of the burger. The fries that are served with it really compliment the dish. I highly recommend the Wood Creek Bar & Grill. They have excellent atmosphere, food and staff.

During this difficult time of sheltering at home, we look forward to a delicious meal we can enjoy from Wood Creek. Recently we ordered their Veal Milanese and the Shrimp and Mussels Fra Diavolo. Both meals were outstanding. I also took advantage of curb side cocktails and ordered a Dirty Martini. Also excellent. We will be repeating this order again this weekend!

.... but possibly the most horrendous meal in all of NW CT and the Berkshires combined. Ordered calamari which was cloyingly sweet - someone had thrown an entire bottle of Thai sweet chili sauce over it with the thought that the side of savory dip would go well. The roast beef on the namesake sandwich wasn't even worthy of a supermarket deli counter and the accompanying onion rings were straight out of the freezer section. The 'fresh' French onion soup was fresh out of the can mixed with some sliced onions thrown in for good measure, the 'cheese' never met Gruyere let alone would know how to spell it. The person who owns this restaurant has the audacity to call himself a chef. Whatever is he thinking? Drive straight to the border and head north towards Great Barrington. There you stand a chance of getting something decent. Meanwhile, pass the Tums.

We had planned on eating at the Wood Creek on Wednesday night when we arrived in the Norfolk area. Unfortunately, although their website & answering machine said they were open that night, they had changed their open days & were closed. They need to update their communications. So we ate at other area restaurants.

For years Wood Creek Bar and Grill has been our “go to” for anniversaries, birthdays, trivia night, karaoke night and any night we don’t feel like cooking (which is a lot of nights). The food is consistently good, the environment is warm and inviting and the specials are amazing! In fact, the hot buttered lobster roll is better than the one I get each summer on the coast of Maine. Don’t let the most recent negative reviews deter you. Clearly some folks have forgotten we’re in the midst of a global pandemic or their sense of taste has faltered, due to said pandemic. The owners and staff have a fierce sense of dedication to bring delicious food to our small town despite the hardships of 2020. We adore you, Wood Creek!

We were staying in a nearby inn and walked down for dinner on a Sunday. We (along with probably a dozen other people) were turned away because the restaurant actually ran out of food. They were giving patrons who had already been seated whatever they had left, and ended up closing early. I'm not sure if this was a fluke but I guess I would say that, considering it's the only restaurant in town, you may want to have a backup plan in place. We were a little disappointed.

So very sorry to hear that you had a bad time. We have been at this for 8 months. Very hard. No picnic. I am so grateful that we were finally so busy that we sold out of everything. With 80% of restaurants closing please try to be kind. If ever back in Norfolk lmk. We will have everything you need. Sincerely, Heidi

After a long day my wife, son daughter-in law, and myself had a massive craving for ice cream or a dessert. We had a wonderful server I believe her name was Sam. Sam held up a dessert menu, this may sound crazy we were so thrilled to see the dessert menu. We could not decide Sam was not only patient, but so friendly as we made and changed our minds Sam would repeat our new choices. What do I recommend Red Velvet cake with ice cream and whip cream, Chocolate Chip Cookie with ice cream and whip cream. We all enjoyed our time there, largely because of Sam. I am looking forward to my next time there.

Well, my goodness, much better than pub food. My salmon was delicious but, the chef thought it was over done and sent a second piece. As good as the salmon I had in Paris last year. Crisply skin. Yum. Our waitress Cassie was wonderful as well. My Vesper martini was also very good. Not overly sweet.

My aunt took me to this restaurant on a recent visit to Connecticut. The Bison Burger is delicious, I had this both times we visited the restaurant. The pecan pie is delicious and I'm a southerner so I great pecan pie. Have it warmed with vanilla ice cream. The key lime pie is also delicious. I loved the atmosphere is wonderful. Heidi, the owner, is a delight and I loved meeting her.

We love to have dinner at The Norfolk Pub. Went before a show at Infinity Hall. Place was packed and hopping with pre-show folks, however the service was timely & outstanding. They have a well trained and excellent service staff who work together as a well oiled team, with outstanding food. Kudos to the owner Heidi for keeping things rolling @ The Norfolk Pub. Also a shout out to our server Matt, great guy. We look forward to our next visit to The Norfolk Pub!

I spend 3 weeks in Norfolk hose sitting and never have to touch the stove. I enjoy the delicious food and always have great service. On 2 occasions I met friends for lunch. We had such a great time in the restaurant. I also sat at the bar. And also outside. Each visit better than the one before. I am back in town for the Library Book Sale. See you then

We came for dinner. We always like the place and the food. The bartender was so rude. We asked what was on tap and she shortly suggested we go look at the tiny board and take a picture. We quickly decided to have our drinks and leave. When we told her we were just having a drink instead of dinner. She said oh thank goodness. Not the best service.

Lovely casual pub with decent wine and beer selection. Friendly hostess and staff that look after all the tables and not just the few they are assigned -- I always like that
