I like the BYOB vibe I wish they served fries- but it get the "no frying" thing Food was overpriced Lobster bisque was delish but I felt sick immediately after eating it- probably just because it's so creamy. The crab cakes are good

Parking was a challenge but the line was reasonable. Prices are a bit high but the quality of food was great. I had the hot lobster roll; excellent. I would recommend it for folks visiting or passing through.

This place is considered the top place to get lobster in the Mystic/Groton area, according to certain sites. P-lease! The line to order is long, the lobsters take almost a half hour to prepare, the ambience is rushed Burger King. I ordered a lobster roll, which took almost 20 minutes to have served. Plenty of lobster pieces on a buttered... More

Visited with my family. You order from a shed type of structure and they call your number when your order is ready. You can't help but think this is a tourist trap. It's expensive. We ordered 5 lobster rolls and 5 waters and the bill came to $95 dollars. The "rolls" are burger buns. Small portions for what you pay.... More

No problems on our visit. Long line but moved right along. BYOB or buy soft drinks there. They have little plastic cups and ice water for you to help yourself. Borderline tourist trap but did what we wanted. Offered nonfried seafood. We had lobster bisque (don't expect lobster chunks in it), crab patties, lobster tail on a salad, and baguette.... More

The lobster is succulent and fresh and there is no better way to eat it than watching the boats sail by on the ocean. You can bring your own wine or beer to enhance the experience, but fountain drinks are sold there. There is a kid's menu, but limited to a few items. The only thing to keep in mind... More

Don't come dressed in your fancy clothes and prepare to get your fingers full of butter! Choose your size of lobster or make it easy and order one in a roll. Then choose a picnic table and enjoy the ocean view and great food. Like a bottle of wine with your lobster? Not a problem, it's yup, byob! Not crazy... More

Great stuffed clams. Lobster served some fake butter product, but the menu said "drawn butter". Nasty thing to put with fresh lobster. Total turn-off.

Our annual weekend trip from NJ to New England always ends with a stop at this iconic lobster spot. Perfect location on the water, freshest lobster you've ever had, and even some great desserts (blueberry pancake ice cream? Yes, please).

We live locally, but this was the first time that I have visited Abbotts. I do not intend to return. The setting is wonderful, with beautiful views of the water. However, for me, the food left a lot to be desired. The $18 hot lobster roll was a huge disappointment. A small hamburger bun filled with lobster, a tiny plastic... More
