We have eaten here several times and found it to be significantly inconsistent. After a few disappointing meals a friend told us to "stick with the comfort food" menu. This menu includes chicken pot pie, shepherds pie, and beef stroganoff. These selections are consistently good, but not always what is wanted. Main St Grille is great on a cold rainy... More

After a long walk on the boardwalk, we stopped at Main Street Grille for a beer and sandwich. The restaurant wasn't too busy at the early hour of 5 p.m. on a Friday, but within half an hour, it was hopping! Our waiter was attentive and our sandwiches were very good. Reubens for both of us, done the right way... More

I ordered Pasta Primavera- I received a dish with snow peas wilted green stuff and something that tasted Japanese. The portion was small. I brought $20.00 cash for lunch and had to pay with a credit card because I didn't have enough money for the bill.

We ate on the upper deck found the service to be very good, it was a beautiful day and we just wanted the view. You have to at least have an appetizer and a drink to sit on the deck but it was worth it.

It's the location that makes this place worth going to, otherwise it doesn't have much to offer. Food was just ok, a little cold by the time it got to us, and the service was fairly slow. I wouldn't go back, especially when there are many other places within walking distance that seem worthwhile.

Mike and I enjoyed a fall evening on the deck overlooking the sound--September 10. The evening was balmy. Everything we had was delicious. We started with mussels, then Mike enjoyed a creamy shrimp and pasta dish and I had the pecan salmon. Both were absolutely perfect. The service was friendly and excellent with both of us marveling at how the... More

A large variety of interesting and tempting menu items. Ford was very good and portion size adequate. Presentation is somewhat lacking. A little more effort into making the dishes and starters look less basic would help. Service was surprisingly slow considering that the restaurant was not busy, many empty tables. Waitstaff needs better training. Our server said she would be... More

Have been here 4 times previously. This Saturday evening. 6:30PM main restaurant empty, patio with 8, 4top tables. One waitress. Very slow service. She was busy and as efficient as she could be, but way understaffed. Caesar salad warm, tasteless dressing. Swordfish ok, poor spicing, thin piece, but cooked well. My wife had a tuna, also cooked correctly to temp.... More

My wife and I met her cousin and her friend who were visiting the area. We have not been to the Main Street Grill in some time. I was very satisfied with the services and the food. I actually received a bonus. I ordered the beer battered fish and chips and the waitress stated the chef made a mistake and... More

Stopped in for lunch. Waitress was friendly and informative of menu. The swordfish Reuben was an interesting combination.
