The Black Sheep has an Irish pub feel that is great for cold fall/winter evenings, but it really is a bar more than a restaurant. The food is only OK and not worth the price. Service can be slow, particularly when busy.

Just came back from Ireland last June and I got spoiled by the fish and chips. This Pub has delicious Irish food and the Pub if you forget you are in Niantic you will think you are in Dublin. It is classy, not too expensive and very clean. Very atmospheric.

The food is a little pricey, but the atmosphere is great for a young adult and the new black sheep house salad with raspberry vinaigrette is to die for! Also get the garlic sauce house chips! I could eat those every day!

Dined on the patio and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Service was good and the fish and chips couldn't' have been any better. Golden brown just the right amount of batter. Large portion of fish. Try the sweet potato fries for added flavor. Highly recommended.

My husband and I go to the Black Sheep on a regular basis. I love their salads especially the Grilled Vegetable and Black Sheep. My husband loves their burgers and steak specials. Almost every night there is some sort of entertainment...Tuesday's is Trivia night where you can win gift card...Wednesday's is karaoke...Thursday's is Blues Night were musician can sit in... More

Ordered flat bread appetizer and had to share with the rest of the bar as it was too much for one person but it was excellent. Great bar, great outdoor area and overall great place. If you have sensitive ears you need to leave before the band starts.

Cool pub. Looks like it would be fun for a football game or at night. Place is huge with indoor and outdoor seating. Food was good although a little pricey. Decent service. We'd go back for some fun.

I have eaten here a few times and the food is decent. Not the greatest. Passable at best. There are many other options in Niantic. The Black Sheep does have a nice bar and patio.

We went on a cold Sunday near St Patrick's day. It was toasty and fun. Food and service were delightful but thefood was a bit boring.
