When you walk into the restaurant, the first thing you see is mounds of pastries, pies, cakes and cookies. But, this is just the beginning. As you review the menu, you discover all types of cuisine, AND breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You will be amazed at the quality of this busy place. Sandwiches were good and meat was cooked just... I have been stopping here for many years, on and off. Recently, I have been making the drive on Route 84 a lot and I know that I can always find something great at the Blue Colony. The choices are endless for any meal or snack. I love the tuna salad and the hot turkey sandwich, but my favorite at... More

Okay, first off: IT'S A DINER! I have met two types of people, people who like diners and people who don't. If you don't like diners, this is not for you. If you LOVE diners, THIS IS A DINER! If you know diners, then you know what's on the menu, and everything is good. The diner standards are diner-perfect: burgers,... More

When we were paying and getting ready to leave I notice all the yummy looking desserts they had by the register. Next time we stop in I'll... More

The place was packed, although we got a table fairly quickly. Our server was great, and the diner had a nice selection of items for lunch. They do give large portions, and it was tough to finish everything. The atmosphere was very transient, so it was obviously aimed at motorists. Overall a nice place to stop on a long east... More

Met a friend here while traveling on business. We had both already eaten dinner so we decided to meet for dessert. They had a HUGE selection to choose from. The server was great! She said "don't look at the menu, look at the dessert through the glass and pick which one you like". She was right! it was hard to... More
