My husband and I did takeout for waffles here while we were in the area to run errands, and were both incredibly pleased with our food. My husband got the strawberries and cream waffles, while I got the bananas foster, and both were delicious. There are a lot of non-waffle options here as well, like crepes, pancakes, and meal combos (including eggs and bacon). The portions are really big, so they'll last you for a big chunk of the day. The food was ready within the time period they told us, even though it was pretty busy when we arrived to pick up our food. The cashier was a bit brusque/not very friendly, but I see from other reviews that this is an ongoing issue.

My wife and I made the first of what will many visits recently. My wife had the sloppy waffle and I had a ginormous 3 egg omelette. Everything in made at the restaurant from the bread for toast, sweet peppers for the omelette and everything tasted great. The menu has lots of options so we are looking forward to trying other entrees in the future.

Located right now on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington and not far from the department of transportation. Cute and quaint with ample parking. You could either eat inside or outside on the cute patio that is offered. Waffles were delicious and the coffee was on point. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Bunch of what looked like teenage waiters did not know who ordered what. Food was tasteless and cold. They make you pay before they bring out food probably knowing that people would not pay for THAT "food". Take your money somewhere else.

Very helpful and friendly staff. I ordered online to pickup - it was a really easy process. The one down side is I didn't get a time my order would be ready.
SO many choices and everything we tried was delicious. The pancake was huge. The waffle was smaller, but just enough.

Probably have driven by 100 times but took buddy saying "hey what about the place next to Holiday Inn Express....sloppy something?"......What was I waiting for?...AWESOME food for good value and great staff and cool relaxed vibe....See you on future trips!!

Great waffles with a variety of ingredients. A good stop for brunch as the waffles are very rich. This is a must stop the next time my daughter comes home from college.

Going to have to add another review on top of the others that mentioned the rude woman working the cash register. Made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her for just coming in and mentioning the words “dining in”. Unfortunately this encounter completely soured the experience of dining in and having a painfully mediocre meal. I will continue to just go to Five and Dime or even take the twenty minute drive to Cosmic Omelet where they understand a truly unique and delicious menu along with friendly customer service even during their busiest time of day. Really disappointed about this. Sloppy Waffle...sloppier customer service.

No question, sloppy waffle is definitely worth the trip! Great variety of foods, friendly attentive staff, extensive menu, and the chicken and waffles are to die for! The maple syrup is the best too! One thing to note, when ordering, you need to go to the cash register to place your order. Something different, but no biggie. Can be crowded sometimes but again, well worth the wait! Would recommend to anyone. Locally owned, local flavor, local staff, local food, can’t beat it!

Finally a good chicken and waffle joint. Th spicy Jeff with waffle will make you sweat, but it's worth it. Great place for bfast or lunch.

I had the spicy Jeff. Very good! The hot really does mean hot so make sure you mean it. Waffles are great and the omelettes are well portioned.

This is a good place for two to four to have breakfast, brunch or lunch. The home fries and homemade potato chips were delicious. My husband had the Jesse James, which he enjoyed, a burger with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and an egg served with waffles. He tried to pick it up to eat, but couldn't. He wished the waffles were crispier. I had the chicken and waffle, which I enjoyed with the crunch of the potato chips. We really enjoyed the chips. A bit pricey for what we had, but worth a shot.

Me and my cousin from New Hampshire decided to go to the Sloppy Waffle for a late breakfast . The parking lot was full but looks are decieving plenty of seating inside and even some outside .. I have the Louie special which was scrambled eggs with cheese and a kids waffle with strawberries and their homemade chips everything was excellent the kids waffle was just enough plus they now have homemade bread . And my cousin had the bacon waffle which is covered in chopped bacon and has a mixture of butter and maple syrup already on it and home fries she lived it as well along with the watermelon lemonade . All for just 22.00 can't beat the price or the service . Highly recommend the place waffles are delicious and so are the pancakes made with pearl sugar .Enjoy they also now have crepes .. One of the best breakfast I eat in a long time, the home fries wow super tasty, the home made bread super good. fast service good staff, the owner tome to the table one time to ask how was everything, she was very happy that we love the food.
