First time at this restaurant and we will go back. Celebrated my Father’s Birthday and he was so pleased with our restaurant choice. He couldn’t stop raving about the sauerbraten and strudel. The rest of my family throughly enjoyed their meal also.

Disappointed! Poor service, terrible food preparation, zero atmosphere. It’s like the manager, the cook and the waitstaff all took the weekend off. The only good part of this experience was my dinner companion.

And I'm an expert, so to say. Came back here on another visit in New Milford and the Alpenhaus is definitely worth a visit. The "Frikadellen" really taste like my mother used to make them!

We had lunch here Nd the food was delicous! We were a large party and all the food came quickly and portions were very generous. Granddaughter thought it was the best mac & cheese ever! Our schnitzel was yummy
