Got there for an early dinner, our waitress hadn't punched in yet so the manager seated us and took our drink order. Very accomadating as I am on a special diet. We left there full with no dessert.
I've always felt Outback was superior to the other chains (Chili's, Ruby Tuesday etc) as far as American/Steakhouses go. They do make their own sauces etc and the steaks are not frozen and some tasty spice blends are used. The service varies from phenomenal to poor and there's virtually no consistency in your expierence. However, this review is in regards... More
This was the best meal I've had at Outback in a while. I had the prime rib and lobster tail and really enjoyed it, I was there on a Wed and got a free mini sundae for dessert. The server was pleasant and efficient. I was in town for business so unfortunately this location is not close to me but... More
The Outback used to be my go-to place whenever we wanted a decent meal. However, we went with a group of 10 recently and it was unbearable slow. In fact, there are no excuses because we went at at time, Sunday, noon, where the place was pretty much empty. It took over an hour to get our meal. The service... More
We recently had a dinner at the Outback. It is a chain so it was chain restaurant atmosphere. The service was good although our waiter was sweating. The food was surprisingly good. My wife had the roasted sirloin which was very tender and flavorful. I tried the Aussie fish tacos. I love West coast fish tacos, but have a hard... More
Whenever I visit my parents in CT, I enjoy taking them out to lunch. My dad loves prime rib and my mom anything seafood. Not easy finding a place that offers both at lunch. Yet the Outback Steakhouse in New London, CT gladly has what they desire. Most times the Outback is very busy being a dinner destination. But they... More
I used to love Outback, but I havent been in awhile, maybe 6months. Stopped in for our favorite apps and what a disappointment! My tuna ahi app was soooo salty I couldnt taste the tuna.....even my son couldnt finish the buffalo chicken....he said it was too salty......they really need to stop the salt.
We drove down from Maine and were very hungry. After checking into our hotel we went down the hill to Outback. Our server took great care of us and basically put together all our meals by suggestive selling the steak promotional packages. Add cold beer and great desserts and we had a great experience!
They stayed open during our first blizzard of the year - lucky to trot over from hotel and have a nice quite lunch.
