We actually chose this restaurant because it was across the parking lot from our hotel..nice and close after a day of sightseeing....Service was great, it was very cool on a hot day..I ordered something (don't remember what) but they were out of it...which surprised me because it was just barely 5:00....I ordered the lamb instead and it was dynamite !!!... Seated quickly and waited on immediately for drinks/appetizer. Two people had steaks, prime rib, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Vegetables were actually fresh and mashed potatoes were real potatoes. I had the 10 ounce bacon bourbon salmon; delicious and plentiful so I took a large piece home. One in our party had "bar" wine and said it was okay. Given this... More

We ate or had drinks here over the course of 3 days. The service was outstanding. Raven and Patty took unbelievable care of us. I can't thank them enough for the warmth and hugs. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in New London or passing thru.

Beer is big and relatively cheap. Service is a little slow as they are understaffed. Food is predictable - that being said - they were great to accommodate us with raw veggies along with steak and fish. The steaks also were a little better than I normally expect from a chain. Ribeye and porterhouse were cooked exactly right as well.

Got there for an early dinner, our waitress hadn't punched in yet so the manager seated us and took our drink order. Very accomadating as I am on a special diet. We left there full with no dessert.

I've always felt Outback was superior to the other chains (Chili's, Ruby Tuesday etc) as far as American/Steakhouses go. They do make their own sauces etc and the steaks are not frozen and some tasty spice blends are used. The service varies from phenomenal to poor and there's virtually no consistency in your expierence. However, this review is in regards... More

This was the best meal I've had at Outback in a while. I had the prime rib and lobster tail and really enjoyed it, I was there on a Wed and got a free mini sundae for dessert. The server was pleasant and efficient. I was in town for business so unfortunately this location is not close to me but... More

The Outback used to be my go-to place whenever we wanted a decent meal. However, we went with a group of 10 recently and it was unbearable slow. In fact, there are no excuses because we went at at time, Sunday, noon, where the place was pretty much empty. It took over an hour to get our meal. The service... More

We recently had a dinner at the Outback. It is a chain so it was chain restaurant atmosphere. The service was good although our waiter was sweating. The food was surprisingly good. My wife had the roasted sirloin which was very tender and flavorful. I tried the Aussie fish tacos. I love West coast fish tacos, but have a hard... More
