The minute I walked into Muddy Waters I wanted to stay. Unfortunately, we had a time crunch so we had to take out. I loved the atmosphere. Lively and warm and friendly. Lots of people at the tables, who looked like maybe they were regulars. Great selection of food that you really want to eat. Muffins, and coffees, and salad... More

First time in town and this was recommended from a local. Not a large establishment but has a ton of fun decor. The food was very good...and we hit the timing right so we sat on the back porch overlooking the water!

We always enjoy eating at this place. I love the Lust Salad which I had at this visit and my wife had chicken on multigrain bread which was also very good. Order at the counter and they bring the food to where ever you are sitting. You can eat outside on a nice day, like we did, and watch the... More

Stopped in and grabbed one of the blackboard specials & an unsweetened black ice tea. Took my salad & tea to a waterfront bench and enjoyed the awesome weather. There is outdoor seating at the restaurant but I did not want to feel rushed.

This place is awesome, I will definitely be back the next time I come through New London. The coffee and food are great, the atmosphere is friendly, and the music was just right.

We went here both days when we stayed in New London--everything superb. Although we are from out of town, if we lived in New London it would no doubt be our "go to" coffee place. Both days the breakfast sandwiches were really good on homemade bread.

We were driving up 95, from Philadelphia, on a cold, rainy day pulled off into New London for lunch. We found Muddy Waters by accident. Went in. It had a great atmosphere. They had a great menu but being able to have breakfast for lunch was just the ticket. Left with a cup of coffee and a great cookie. The... More

This popular cafe is one of my favourite places for a light lunch if I'm in town, and I have never been disappointed. They do lovely big sandwiches and a couple of different soups every day. My solution for that dilemma is usually to go for half&half, a cup of the soup and half of a juicy sandwich of your... More

Stopped by today with family for breakfast - two of us had lox and bagel and the others had a spinach, egg and avocado on English Muffin. Both were tasty. Service was efficient and friendly and can't wait to go back and try their other sandwiches.
