Roomy, comfortable coffee house with movie posters from the 50's and 60's, this is a great spot to unwind after a long day of walking. It's walking distance to the Amtrak and Greyhound stations, as well, so is an ideal place to grab a coffee or doughnut before heading out to other places in the area.

A favorite lunch place when in New London. When the weather is nice we sit outside and he has a salad. Sometimes I do, but I had a veggie burger today and it was tasty and filling. Not a fancy place but consistently good at what they do well. I recommend it for a casual breakfast or lunch.

Enjoyed the coffee, but it's not the best in town. Staff is kinda rude, at least the 3 times I've been there they were, but it's a cool little place.

I teach at a college in New London. When I'm writing or reading or preparing class and need a change of environment I bring my books or computer to Muddy Waters, sit down on a comfortable sofa or at a table near the water, hear the 1950s - 60s music, look at the some of the memorabilia (old Life magazines,... Stumbled onto this place while checking out downtown area and decided to grab a latte for the road. Really glad I did. Great atmosphere, tasty treats plus free wifi. All you could ask for. Wish I could drop in regularly!

Needed a bathroom so we stopped in to get a drink and use the restroom. What a find! My son, 5 years old, loved looking at all the boats, trains, cars and everything in between.
