On the way home from a baseball tournament we simply did a google search for Italian and Pizza.... and Mr. G's popped up! I walked in first to check out the ambiance prior to bringing the family of 4 in....and I'm glad we did! This is a Greek restaurant that really did a nice job on pizza, meatballs and pasta/chicken.... More

This is a Sunday breakfast review, as opposed to my dinner review of Mr. G's.... Two things are important to note... Great staff (Thank you Dana) and the best corned beef hash in New London County! No lie, They make it fresh and it shows, no canned stuff! Also honorable mention goes to their (also homemade) very creamy and slow... More

We go to Mr. G's with friends on a regular basis. They have something for everyone. Not fancy, but the food is good and the staff is friendly. Prices are reasonable and portions are fairly large. Best house salad/side salad in town.

This is a nice place that is popular with townies, Coast Guard,Connecticut College and city employees. Sports always on the five TV's going, but can be ignored as you dive into a great pizza or specials.

A local favorite for pizza or a full dinner. We recently went on a busy Thursday night. (There were 7 of us and another party of 11 at the same time) and as always the food and service were top notch! Everyone at our table ordered different things, no shared Pizza to make it easier. The food came out fast,... More

Fried food, menu needs updating as does the bar. Mostly locals... food is just ok. Bar service is good.

We really enjoy Mr. G's. Especially for salads and calzones. Portions are generous and service good. Atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Very welcoming. We will always have Mr. G's in mind as a potential lunch or dinner spot.

Haven't been to Mr G's in about 5 years. My return put me back in the same place from my last visit years ago. Not much has changed. I've always had lunch or dinner in the bar area so that is the focus of my comments....nothing seems to have changed in this area. Food is always pretty good, they've always... More

A bangin quesadilla for all those quesadilla addicts. Their service is casual & friendly. Buffalo chicken pizza was unique , we liked that it was offered with a cheese other than blue cheese. The house are garlic dressing was super yummy. I'll totally visit again :)

Try the lasagna! Or the Quesadilla! Or just a plain cheese pizza! Try anything here... its like your grandmother made it herself. Ask about the dessert of the day. They're different every day and homemade by a local baker.
