Their seafood is sooo good! You won't be sorry you stopped there. My son found this restaurant when he lived in New London.

I stopped here to get some authentic seafood; ordered a lobster roll (which, if you've never had one, is decently expensive). The roll is served with coleslaw on the side, and the lobster roll was worth the trip. There's outdoor seating right on the water, and the ambiance is great for lunch. Worth your time. (They're not open during the... More

This is a fish market on the docks that has evolved into a restaurant. Needless to say the seafood is fresh ! Has the chowder both New England and lobster bisque both hot and tasty. Fish sandwich was white fish lightly breaded and very tasty! You have to look for the address as it is off the main road at... More

ok so we stopped at this place on our drive to New Canaan because my hubby is a Casey Neistat mega-fan and apparently Casey raves about the lobster rolls at this joint. So of course we ordered lobster rolls, plus calamari and clam chowder. Everything was yumm. I only wish someone would have recommended ordering extra butter because that seems... More

Sandwiched between Amtrak and all the boats in Shaw's Cove, Capt. Scott's delights. Great steamers, lobster rolls, chowder and bisque and even something for the landlubber. Couple sunshine, seafood and an ice cream parlor, and what's not to like? The crowd is only 10-20% tourist, which tells you that the good food and ambiance keeps the repeat customers coming.

The large lobster rolls have 5 ounces of delicious lobster meat. We order the hot buttered variety. They could have had a tad more butter for our liking but we enjoyed ourselves!

My wife and I really enjoyed eating at Captain Scotts. We shared a Mahi sandwich, cold lobster roll, fried clam bellies, and RI Chowder. All fresh and delicious. Fun to sit on the dock.

If what you want is fried seafood -- scallops, clams, clam fritters -- this is the place to visit. Situated right on a dock and offering only outdoor dining, Captain Scott's has very good friend clams and tartar sauce and a good fried scallop sandwich. The same can't be said for the clam fritters which were heavy, doughy and inedible.... More

The best lobster roll you ever want to eat! It comes in 2 sizes with large chunks of meat in every bite. Dining is outside. They also sell Guifford's ice cream for dessert. Excellent lunch!

We decided to finish our crab and lobster tour of New England at Captain Scott's. Note that everything here is ordered separately (meaning you pay for butter, fries, chips, etc.). At least they had all kinds of condiments that other places don't have. That includes old bay seasoning and even siracha sauce. They were generous with their tasty lobster. The... More
