I don't know what they're calling the business now, but it isn't the Avelino's Pizza my wife and I stopped at on our way to Boston a few years ago. That restaurant had tables to sit and eat, a restroom, workers that talked to each...other in Italian, and pizza by the slice. The current pizza place is carryout only. There are a few seats to wait for your order to be cooked. There's no restroom to wash your hands before eating. We were open-minded when we saw all the changes and decided to give them a try. Crazy as it sounds, the menu they gave us had prices that were "out of date." I've never ordered in that way before and it was a clue to reconsider leaving while we could. We got 2 steak and cheese subs and 2 20oz. sodas and it was just under $30. The subs were good and plenty good size, but no chips, fries, or pickle, and $30 is expensive for a pizza shop in the middle of a ghetto.More
