Thai foods usually healthy, spicy , but less oil though sometimes salty due to fish sauce. I always order Som Tam salad, Tom yam noodles soup, Pad thai, n Thai fried chicken and Thai fried rice a little salty and it taste like mixed with shrimp paste, if you have allergies with shrimp don't try this one fried rice but... I am not a very big Thai fan but they do have very good food. the fried tofu is very good and they have great pad Thai. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area and are in the mood for Thai.

I was in town for a family function and stopped to get take-out from here on the way home. I had a taste for noodles and ordered the Pad See Ew. It was delicious --- the perfect balance of sweet and salty and sour, and the broccoli was not overcooked. I had the Thai steamed dumplings and they were fine,... More

There are several Thai restaurants in New Haven. I think Rice Pot is a little more authentic, but Thai Taste is more proximate to downtown attractions, university, and theater. It served typical dishes in large portions. I wouldn't rush to go back, but I wouldn't avoid it either. We had: red curry with duck, drunken noodle, sliced beef salad, and... More

Enjoyed stepping down a few stairs and into the darkly decorated decor of this space, a refreshing change from overdoing a specific decor. Service is prompt and very attentive without being intrusive. Food came out fast, 2 steaming dishes of Pad Thai with fresh, artfully arranged ingredients, and a third dish of garlic shrimp presented in the same manner. Everything... More

My son and I ate at Thai Taste on a college visit to Yale. Our vegetarian tour guide recommended it. We tried a red curry dish which was filled with plentiful vegetables and had just the right amount of spice to tingle our tongues without setting them on fire. We also tried the fried rice special which was loaded with... More

We ate dinner at Thai Taste, while staying near by at the Study Hotel at Yale. The restaurant has seating downstairs from street level, Their menu has a wide variety of rice and noodle dishes, including the standard Pad Thai. We shared an appetizer sampler, which was excellent and fun to share. I got a duck with orange sauce dish... More

Came up to visit our daughter at Univ New Haven. Decided to try this place. We were greeted pleasantly upon arrival and our reservation was honored. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was tasty and there are many vegetarian options. We will be back.

There are about five Thai restaurants on this block in NH at any given time (the other big deal one is Bangkok Gardens). Thai Taste has been my favorite for years. I'm not alone in this. As a student my friends and all agreed that this was the best Thai place in town. My husband's roommate was the president of... More

Good food: large and diverse menu including many classics. Nice curries and noodle dishes. Most portions in the dinner menu are particularly large and satisfying. The lunch menu is priced slightly lower and some of the dishes are slightly smaller, within reason; as someone who eats a lot I feel the dinner is a better bang for the buck. Service... More
