I'm glad I went, the hamburger was good, and I mean no disrespect by my rating. This is a hamburger in its purest form, with little adornment. I am one of those who buys into today's moremoremore approach to food, which says more about me...More

I can never seem to get enough of this place. Best burger in the world. No condiments allowed and actually none needed! They say this is the home of the original burger and I believe it. You have to go and check them out

Louis Lunch may not have the best burgers in New Haven, though I haven't found out where they are yet, and I haven't tasted better. In any event, they started the whole thing, and their burgers are really delicious. I enjoy having them on toast,...More

It is a tight fit in there, but the burger is worth the wait. I enjoy meat, cheese and onion without condiments, so it is fabulous and right up my alley. You can also get tomato, but that is it. Took about 30 mins to...More

You have to have a burger here at least once since it is the birthplace of burgers but you'll come back for more! Great for lunch or a late night snack but don't ever ask for ketchup!!!

Nothing special. Stopped in for a cheeseburger on our way home. Burger was cooked rare and toast was a bit soggy. The cheese I think was cheese wiz. For $6 + not worth the stop.

As far as I am aware, they have no plans to close. They've been in business for over 100 years, and are always crowded.
