We had a lovely dinner here. The tapas were delicious, with the Fish Tacos and Duck Quesadillas being particularly good. Nice cocktails, a pleasant atmosphere and good service also added to the experience. It was fairly crowded on a Sunday evening, so reservations are recommended.

We started with delicious guacamole, the best we have had outside of the West Coast. (We might have guessed that from the huge bowl of avocados). The Pellegrino was served in a marbled wine cooler container with a separate glass of ice and lemon and lime slices-- very elegant (sometimes if we don't order a drink, we feel the service... More

We were three of us and shared several tapas as starter, including excellent oysters. Globally food is fine and served hot. I recommend.

We really enjoyed the tasty food and attentive service. The music was a little loud but we managed to talk over it. We recommend the salmon and the scallops.

My favorite tapas location. I always come with friends and family. We order the entire tapas plate menu and share everything. It is always delicious and never disappoints. Friendly staff, fun environment. Get there early if you don't have reservations, because they fill up quickly.

We had dinner at Pacifico with 4 people before the theatre last week. The place is cozy and they have done a nice job with the decor with tables not too crammed together. The food was really disappointing. Ceviche app was a tiny portion in the bottom of a martini glass. The fresh guacamole was way too salty...the waiter did... More

Came here solo for dinner. Had the shrimp ceviche and the Churrasco a La Parrilla- Grilled skirt steak with stir-fried rice with sweet plantains and lobster, saffron mojito and mushrooms chimichurri. The ceviche was good but the steak entree was amazing. The stir-fried rice with plantains and lobster was seriously out of this world. Truly unique and a great combo... More

Been here quite a few times and have never been disappointed. Be prepared to pay for parking because there aren't many free places to park downtown New Haven. However, there is a lot located right behind the restaurant. Everything about the inside will draw you back in again... The food, drinks, staff, atmosphere, etc... Is all great! There is music... Dining before the Shubert or Long wharf theater... one must take a pause.... Pacifico is a perfect sigh of delight. Staff, and restaurant lay out are welcoming an energizing environment to partake before theater, meeting a new work group or dining with family and friends. The roja (red) dipping sauce with bread sets the stage for an exceptional lunch or... More
