Best New Haven Pizza, love it better than Modern. It is more flavorful and consistent. Sausage pie is my favorite. Give them a try if you are in westville.

A cousin of mine has brought us here several times, and it's become a real 'go to' for us since moving to Woodbridge. Being from Brooklyn, NY, I'm a bit of a pizza snob, so we're happy to have found this little gem.

Ernie's is a classic. Been around forever - I've been going there for nearly 30 years. The pizza is always consistent and always delicious. Nostalgic place to take the kids for pizza - like traveling back to the late 70's early 80's.

Ernie's pizza is consistently great. I went there when I was a teenager, and have returned over 40 years later. I can honestly say it hasn't changed! The mozzarella is a treat in its self, a hint of butter (?), the dough always cooked to perfection. Pat is a wonderful person, very friendly and welcoming. It's always a treat to... More

Having lived across the street for 7 years but not having tried Ernie's, I gave it a go. I ordered the Ernie's Special, which has only two toppings--mushrooms and sausage. When I opened the box, I knew I was in for real treat with all the blackened edges. Uhh, not so much. The sauce was ok, cheese ok but on... More

I havent been here (sad to say) in over 25 years. Shame on me. My whole experience was amazing. Pizza and staff just like I remembered. Fantastic! Just as good as Wooster St WITHOUT snobby family members running the joint. Thank you.

I had been told by family and friends to try Ernie's pizza, they all indicated that it was very good. We purchased our first pizza last week, finding the the ingredient, sauce, pepperoni, cheese was of high quality, and the pizza was cooked properly, not too rare or burnt.. Only issue we had was with the crust, it appears that... More

We moved to Florida 10 years ago from CT, there is no pizza here to even compare with New Haven area pizza. I am very happy here in Florida, except for PIZZA. I love Ernies, and always head for pizza as soon as the plane lands. Ernie's was the closest to where we lived, it was always so good and great... More
