Met a friend for lunch here after a service at Christ Church. I was a little alarmed that there was only one customer in the restaurant at 1:15 on a Wednesday as it is right on the corner of Broadway and Howe. They really made the effort to make us feel welcomed. Both the lamb and chicken korma were tasty,... More

We ordered the food to go and walked over from our hotel a few minutes later. The food was ready and the gentleman that served us was friendly. It was all delicious. I can not recall the name of the it, but my favorite was an eggplant dish.

The interior is nothing to look at, but the food is nice (though not stellar) and the staff is all smiles. The Dahi papdi was excellent, the chicken in my Chicken Madras was very over cooked, but the lamb Vindaloo made up for everything.

The food was spiced perfectly and the service was good. I really enjoyed my lamb rogan josh. I only wish that I had gone with friends so I could have tried more of their selection!!

This area deserves better than this; we had a takeaway and it was by far the most disappointing dhaal makhani and fish madras I had ever tasted, small portions (with a free serving of rice) for the rip-off price of nearly $30. This is all surprising seeing as authenticity is on show, from cricket on the small TV to the... More

I had the nine-vegetable vegetarian dish (which came with basmati rice), and also a salt lassi to drink. It was a good tasty meal, and including gratuity came out at $20

We just ate in for the first time this evening after having ordered take out several times. It appears that most people do take out, as it is almost always somewhat empty inside. You don't go for the decor which is an interesting mix. Instead you go for the food. I debated among the rankings due to this balance. The... More

I and three friends had a leisurely dinner here and thought the food was uniformly excellent. We ordered a couple of different appetizers and each a different entree, all were top-notch. My lamb curry was some of the best I have ever eaten, and the chicken vindaloo and spicy shrimp curry were to die for! You owe it to yourself... More

Didn't seem to be doing a whole lot of business in the late lunch time (2 p.m.), but the curry was good and the lunch specials reasonably priced.

I had a very nice dinner here -- authentic, well-presented, and mostly pretty delicious. The raita was disappointing, but the chicken koorma was some of the best I've had anywhere.
