Two local friends brought me here, and I can see why they think so highly of it. The menu offered lots of choices, and all of us liked the food we ordered. The service hummed right along--we weren't rushed, and we didn't wait long.

This WAS one of our favorite neighborhood places. We celebrated a number of occasions over the past year or two, including birthdays, HS graduation for a kid, and even Thanksgiving dinner. So when we had a chance the other night to go on a date...More

We have eaten in Stone Hearth many times since they opened. They have finally expanded their menu to include burgers and sandwiches along with a small selection of entrees most of which are excellent. The ambience is upscale bar with big booth seating and a...More

Three adults for Sunday brunch. Made an advance reservation on Thursday before and was told we could not get a table before 1:15pm, so we took it. Arrived early at 1:00pm to find place empty but for one table. Left us doubting the efficiency of...More

I live a few blocks away and used to be a big fan of Delaney's, the most popular restaurant in this neighborhood. When it burned down, Stone Hearth became the natural choice when I had guests (since I do not drive) and for my academic...More

We had a late lunch in an otherwise empty place (though I've seen this place full to overflowing). The service was fine, the food even better without being gourmet. Stone Hearth provides a satisfying meal without pretension. Well worth a visit if you're in the...More

All I can do is apologize at this point and I do, sincerely. Our standard procedure is to let guest know when we seat them if any menu items are not available. That did not happen. I will also talk to the server about the...More
