Hit and miss...

Definitely hit-and-miss with this place. Been there 3 times...1st okay, 2nd good, 3rd so-so. Small salad big but not very good. Dressing not a lot of flavor. 2 slices cheese and a small garden salad...$10 (salad pricey). Will I go back? Maybe. Like I've heard..."there's pizza, and there's great pizza". These guys try.

Good Pizza Great Guys

What a great little pizza shop. The pizza is a good value for the money. The quality is ok and the crust is good. They have delivery which is great but if you go in an order to go or eat there the guys are awesome. They are funny and joke around with you and make sure you are well taken care of. I would definitely go back. A must go pizza place.

CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS

ive been ordering from empire for years and never truly had a problem with them today. the fact that one they gave my doordash driver the wrong food and when i called to let them know they state that i need to complain to doordash. i handle it through doordash to call them back and reorder so that my order would come quicker since im not too far, they take another hour. they block my number in this time frame so i called to see where my food is from my job phone for the "manger" to tell me that the food is coming 5 mins away just for me to call back and explain how my food is still not here. mind you i only ordered a salad. so i asked for the inconvenience can i get a discount on my food. this man tells me no hes not because hes in his time frame and that my first order was through door dash and not his issue. so i explain i dont think i should have to pay for my food if the driver is going to take longer then excepted. we started a yelling battle and i hung up. i call back to find my number is blocked again. i call from another number for the manger to tell me hes canceling my order and i waisted his time. SIR YOU WAISTED MY TIME FOR 2 HOURS. NO SIMPITHY. i wish this place was ran better because WOOW. you could of turned this situation around. i would of paid no matter how angry i am but to have to pay full price and not even get nothing after waiting for so long is ridiculous.

Great pizza in downtown New Haven

New Haven has some pretty high standards when it comes to pizza. Empire Rises to the challenge and they serve a wonderful thin crust pie with terrific top quality toppings. The owner has 25 years experience and really is a pizza pro. They have a full menu, not just pizza. It is a perfect spot to get a late night slice and a Coke. They deliver too. Open till 3AM

Very rude people, poor service. If you have an e-gift card from restaurant.com they don't take it even though it says they do. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
