This is a relatively new location for an old Yale gathering place, featuring many varieties of belgian fries, interesting beers and affordable pub fare. More than just a college pub - we had a very enjoyable family lunch here before visiting the Yale Art Gallery just 2 blocks away. Service was quick, helpings were ample, and the atmosphere casual.

My coworkers and I were visiting New Haven for a training, and decided to try this place out. Before the place had actually closed, they started telling us we had to leave. We noticed that they weren't telling anyone else they had to go, just us. When we got back to our hotel, the front desk attendant told us they... More

I've been here twice for dinner. Both times the experience was great! They have a great selection of drinks (and, of course, beers) and food as well. The typical burgers and fries which are all very good with the addition of some bigger and fancier plates (think mussels). Great fun atmosphere.

We went with friends on a trip to visit Yale. It was a Thursday night a little late as we watched the place transform from a burger joint to a bar. We figured that when we went there, so it didn't bother us. Just wanted to warn you that it gets pretty crowded past 9:00pm. We had 12 people, so... More

This is a great spot for happy hour! Definitely try the Belgian fries! They have a variety of sauces to choose from. The samurai sauce is a local favorite. The flatbreads and sandwiches are good as well!

Good place for lunch. Burgers and fries are amazing. A great variety of sauces for your french fries. Service was a little slow because there was only one waitress on the shift. Overall, good. Would definitely go again.

There's nothing like starting or ending your night at Rudy's. My favorite is a Saturday night dinner, European-style, with a Palm on tap, the best Belgian fries, and a great assortment of sandwiches, wraps, and plates.

My first glass had lipstick stains. I forgave the mistake, but had to pray over the food. The food was good however. I would recommend. Burgers are awesome.

i like rudy's and go there often. it's a great mix of a relaxing place but also it can be quite fast, with nice music and dancing. beers are great and the burgers usually very tasty. service and the crowd are also fantastic. sometimes though music could be better (not that mainstream).
