Popped in for a lunch time meal whilst I was staying in New Haven. Had a lovely ice cool beer coupled with a shepherd's piece. Delicious!

Great old time pub atmosphere. Friendly staff. Get the Brussel sprout special ... It is delicious. Double stuffed potato soup is very tasty, served piping hot.

Fun place to watch a game, lots of people, food good, service not so good! I actually feel sorry for the owner, the servers really don't keep track of what's ordered or by who. I had to ask for my order numerous times and then had to tell them what we had when the bill came. I know he loses... More

Fun little pub to stop in for a quick drink (or maybe even a leisurely one!) while out in New Haven.

The authenticity is the biggest draw for me. As an Englishman I enjoy seeing all the games, "football" scarves and shirts. I really enjoy the Bangers and Mash along with many other great menu items. The staff is friendly and FUN! Also, the live music is a huge reason to visit. Some of the finest musicians have played here. Quality... More

I've had the Irish sausages while my son had curry chips. We loved it so much - along with the waitress and other guest that we knew we'd be back plenty more times. I brought my aunt over from Ireland there a few weeks later and had the Irish Breakfast. It was the best breakfast I have ever had! Delicious.... More

I went to the upstairs bar. It is pretty small but the bartender did a great job single-handedly serving a couple of dozen conference attendees that just flooded his bar all of the sudden.

If you go here, go here for the music or the games on tv. The food is less than average. The fries are terrible (soft). The cobb salad is not too bad. However, the staff is really nice.

I would like to congratulate Frank Cullimore for being voted Best Bartender in Advocate Best of New Haven Readers' Poll 2014. Frank works very hard in taking care of his customers. He has been great to me as well as my girlfriend Cat. My review is biased as I am a regular. This is one of the few restaurants in... More
