This is a foodie place but should also appeal to everyone. The menu is varied from scallops to pork bellies and a lot in between. My only complain is the wine was at room temp or warmer, it should have been 65-68 closer to cellar...More

This place is a bit different but the food pairings are very nice. For example: Duck nachos. The chips are not your standard salty corn chips, but a slightly puffy chip with such tasty toppings. Excellent and must have. I had the hanger steak which...More

Perfect place for a business dinner or date night, this place delivers on wine and food. The dishes are well seasoned and portions are on the generous side for a restaurant at this price-point. I highly recommend the duck nacho appetizer.

Great menu for carnivores and vegetarians alike. The rare tuna entree was amazing as well as the butternut squash soup. Wonderful selection of cheeses. Attractive place with good service. The gnocchi was "oily" for my taste. I will return the next time I'm in New...More

Both times I've lunched here I found the food unexpectedly combined and creatively spiced. For example, saag shrimp. Desserts are unusual and complex. Also, the music is lovely, usually jazz, played at a level at which people can enjoy a conversation without shouting.

A very nice selection on the main drag in New Haven. Trendy but not insufferable, with very good food with fresh ingredients and inventive recipes.

The food is very good. The seating is cramped and tables are crowded together, making for a noisy meal, but also the chance to make new friends as the customer next to you is an arms length away. The prices are on the expensive side.

We chose Zinc because of a friend's recommendation and its close proximity to the theater. The place has a lively, friendly feel and creative menu. Service was very good. One in our party had the sea scallops she pronounced as excellent. My Black Cod was...More
