I have chosen the place becauseb of good rating on TA. Disappointment from very first thing... Tap water tasting awful, coke made of it as well. But wine was extremely bad. Nachos with duck pieces were ok, salad so so. Blue cheese too dry, no dressing... Lunch not recommended. Maybe evening food is better. Waitress was excellent but restaurant is... More

First time, I had scallops that were cooked to perfection but they were over barley - a strange combination. Next evening I had lamb kebabs. They were a wee bit tough but tasty.

I just can't say enough about this amazing restaurant! Visited on vacation and we were blown away by how delicious it was! We all just pushed our plates together in the center of the table and took bites. Worth every penny!

We ate here for a special celebration and felt like the servers were put-out with us being there. The food was pretty and well-plated, but one of our diners' steak was raw and inedible. The rest of the meal was underwhelming considering the expectations we'd had for a higher end experience. We will try this again another time and hope... More

My partner and I have been dining at Zinc for years! We have never had a bad experience, from their excellent appetizers (the lettuce wraps are to die for) to the ever-changing main courses (gnocchi with shaved Brussel Sprouts and hanger steak are two of my favorites), it does not get any better. The service is always excellent and the... More

I go to Zinc monthly for business and these are not your mothers nachos! The duck nachos are AMAZING! The taste is unlike any other. They will stay on your mind, long after they have left your plate!

Found this place on our trip to visit friends in CT and so glad we did! The atmosphere is nice and modern, service is professional and knowledgable. It is on the higher price but well worth it. Everything we had was delicious.

My wife, step-son, who will be starting Yale next month, and I were in New Haven for "just one more tour" during Bull Dog Days, before he made his decision about where to attend college. While he was off with his potential new friends my wife and I were sampling the various top rated restaurants in New Haven. We are... More

The nice decor compliments the capable staff. Seating a little too close and a bit noisy when crowded
