I go to Zinc monthly for business and these are not your mothers nachos! The duck nachos are AMAZING! The taste is unlike any other. They will stay on your mind, long after they have left your plate!

Found this place on our trip to visit friends in CT and so glad we did! The atmosphere is nice and modern, service is professional and knowledgable. It is on the higher price but well worth it. Everything we had was delicious.

My wife, step-son, who will be starting Yale next month, and I were in New Haven for "just one more tour" during Bull Dog Days, before he made his decision about where to attend college. While he was off with his potential new friends my wife and I were sampling the various top rated restaurants in New Haven. We are... More

The nice decor compliments the capable staff. Seating a little too close and a bit noisy when crowded

Had the most amazing steak there with green beans and chips. Tasted amazing and my friends meal was also great. One of the best tasting food in the area, but that also comes with a very high price tag!

Zinc has become our go to place in New Haven. The food is great and while the menu is narrow, appeals to a wide variety of tastes. The service is extremely professional. The wine list is broad and very reasonably priced. Atmosphere is modern with cool tones so as not to take away from the dining experience.

Just moved, and have tried many places. Best service, atmosphere, and food thus far. Excellent really. The bartender Sean's recommendations where great. Tuna dish was great, and Sean paired all dishes with a well matched drink. Couldn't ask for more.

Hostess was very kind in accommodating us although we were early for our reservation on 1/29/16. We sat at the bar for a drink while we waited for our friends and were served by a professional bartender, who offered knowledgeable recommendations on a couple of his own concoctions. Well mixed and poured, I should add. Our friends arrived and we... More

We enjoyed lunch at Zinc. The salads were good and the service friendly and efficient. Most memorable was the fact that you can actually hold a conversation without shouting. So many places like this are all hard surfaces but Zinc is different. Carpeted floors make all the difference.

This is an interesting fusion kitchen in the heart of New Haven. The front looking table is made out of zinc and is one of a kind.Generally its a busy restaurant with different cuisine,I am sure one would enjoy the food.Just above reasonable pricing, highly advisable.
