The food is incredible! The restaurant was packed when we arrived with a large group but we were able to get a table fairly quickly and while the meal took a while to arrive it was well worth it! Absolutely delicious and we can't wait...More

They have vegan options as well as a plenty of other pizza toppings. You can easily eat a large pizza between two hungry adults.

We have been customers at Da Legna for over a year. It has been our favorite pizza place. Being from Italy, it has been challenging to find pizza dough with a similar texture in the USA. Finally, Da Legna provided a product that was similar....More

Like a long lost lover, Da Legna pizza has been on my mind since I fell in love at first slice several years ago. When the opportunity arose to return to where my adoration for this increasingly popular New Haven pizza began I could hardly...More

Da Legna deserves to be one of the go-to pizza joints in New Haven. It opened in 2012 meaning it can't compete with Pepe's and Sally's for historical relevance. Nonetheless, their wood-fired pizzas are excellent - some of the best crust in New Haven! Ingredients...More

Have been to a lot of the 5 star pizza restaurants in New Haven - Pepes, Sallys, and Modern. Da Legna's menu is very creative. I had an Arugula salad with fennel that was excellent. Toppings on the pizza were also very creative and fresh,...More

Met friends for dinner and enjoyed the brussel sprouts, Stilton salad, 2 specialty pizzas and good wine. All very good, service great and friendly staff. On street parking but plenty around. Will definitely return.

We have been called "pizza snobs" by our friends because we refuse to eat bad pizza. We discovered DaLegna accidentally and it was the best accident we have ever had. We travel almost an hour to sit at the bar and devour the most delicious...More

This is by far the best pizza I've had outside of Naples, Italy! For the most authentic pie try the "Buttercup", its an upgraded version even better than their "Margherita" pizza. They are also vegan and vegetarian friendly and even have gluten free options. Great...More
