Quality of food was good, but...found portion sizes to be not appropriate to the price. Selection of drinks good.

Smallish quiet restaurant with a good size menu. It has an interesting decor and ambience. We were there for lunch, and the place was almost empty. We had a salad, cheese quesadillas and rice and beans. Salad was excellent, but the other two were just good. I am not sure how authentically Oaxacan their food is. Service could be a... More

We were three families that came here from out of town. Everybody's food was outstanding. So delicious! I had the Carne Asada, my wife the quesadillas, my friend the fajitas, we had the guacamole for an appetizer, and more. Nothing was average - everything was absolutely delicious. Our waiter Juan was awesome and recommended Casa Noble Anejo tequila, which was... More

We went to Oaxaca Kitchen on a Saturday night with 6 friends. We had a reservation for 7:30 and our table was ready moments after our arrival. We sat down, were given water and menus and then didn't see our waitress for 20 minutes. When she finally showed up, we ordered drinks and some apps. Chips, quac & salsa were... More

We've loved the food T Oaxaca Kitchen for years, and we still do. This was our first attempt to take-out, and it didn't quite work. Ordering by phone from the take-out menu on their website, we showed up only to find that the website was obsolete and two of the dishes we'd ordered were no longer available at all. On... More

We stopped by for a late lunch which luckily was during happy hour. We had most everything off the happy hour menu and more. All of the tacos were delicious. The arepa had great chunks of real corn and the beans were delicious. The $5 nachos were a huge order. The margaritas were a bit sweet but no troubles! Service... More

My boyfriend and I ran into this restaurant randomly on a search for a lunch I can eat with all of my new food allergies. I got three different tacos, all of which were able to put on a lettuce leaf. The pork belly taco was my favorite. The fish taco was incredible as well as the chicken adobo. The... More

We actually were planning on dining elsewhere but the restaurant was closed. My husband suggested we try this restaurant because he knows my love for Mexican food and constant bemoaning of the lack of good Mexican restaurants. It is a beautifully decorated space and we were greeted by a super friendly host who led us to the back dining area.... More

$37 bucks for chips, salsa, a diet coke, and a plate of some rice and nasty tasting and over cooked shrimp located in ground pepper ... a rip off in my humble opinion, which is based on eating some real fine Mexican restaurants.

As someone who lived in Los Angeles, I crave the taste of excellent Mexican food. Chicken mole is my test dish at restaurants; Oaxaca Kitchen passes this test better than any restaurant I've tried around here. It's the only thing I order here. Prices are reasonable - the lunch special is a great deal - and service is on the... More
