Amazing food and very cozy environment. Great service. Traditional Mexican cuisine with fresh ingredients. The pitchers of margaritas and sangria were delicious as well.

The chicken chimichanga was delicious! The homemade tortilla chips were a great starter - the salsa was good but spicy! Rice and beans were delicious as well. Margaritas was great too!

The restaurant is not located in a central place and was totally empty (at about 14:00). We had the impression that the place is family managed and the service was warm and friendly. The food was authentic Mexican and very good, we've enjoyed it.

A big group of us (20+) were there to celebrate a couple of birthdays. The staff was very accommodating with our seating needs, however, we were very surprised that they didn't have the basic things you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. They refused to give us a few checks, even though they had pushed 10 tables together and would... More

I had the steak chimichanga and it was delicious! The only issue was the wait time. There was only one person waiting on the entire restaurant. He was moving as quickly as he could, but it was a bit much to handle a busy lunch crowd.

New Haven is not known for its Mexican food. There are a growing number of restaurants, to be sure, but nowhere near the quantity or quality one would expect. My wife and I used to live within walking distance of Mezcal. She was born in California, so she has certain expectations of what Mexican food should be. I also lived... More

Aside from the very friendly service, the margaritas are delicious! This is our CT go to place for Mexican food. Every dish I have eaten here is delicious, fresh, and flavorful. The chimichangas are worth the calories!

I've been here many times. They have authentic Mexican food and it's great. Servers are always really nice! Only downside is they don't have a bar you can sit at but they still make all sorts of drinks. Margaritas are very good, Choriqueso appetizer is amazing.

Fun place for happy hour with delicious margarita's and nachos chock full with toppings. There is a mariachi band that also plays and is a lot of fun.

This is a neat corner restaurant off state street,. Music was live and entertaining, but too loud to have a conversation without shouting. Open white chardonnay is terrible. The rice and shrimp and enchiladas were tasteless and overcooked. We were looking forward to a nice dinner, but were very disappointed.
