Fine donuts (punchki -phonetic spelling) and other breads. Wish we had gone earlier because the smells were awesome. Only 3 donuts left in case. Staff was not friendly and we did not speak Polish which hindered our ordering.

Outstanding European Bakery in Connecticut. I love their baked goods and the fine pastry. The prices are ever so reasonable. Highly recommend this bakery.

There is wonderful assortment of cake bought by weight. The sweet cheese and raspberry cake, the mixed berry cake and the appple cake are all delicious. Wonderful pierogi but a bit on the pricey side. Paczki (Polish donuts) come in several varieties. Best eaten the same day as purchased. Kasia will do custom cakes for special occaions too.

This small establishment is a bakery and not a restaurant in the true sense of the term. However there are a few hot items for take out. That being said, every time I go here it just keeps getting better and better. The selection of Polish bread, cakes and pastries is extensive, the staff is very friendly and the prices... More

I made yet another visit to Kasia's this past week and picked up a few favorites and 2 individual servings of lasagna. The lasagna was anything but traditional yet it tasted wonderful when reheated for our dinner. Dessert later in the evening was individual portions of tiramisu that melted in our mouths. The following morning I gently brought a pair... More

We stopped in this bakery after eating at Cracovia, right down the street. We only got the daily special - cheese babka, and a donut. The donut was good, the babka was great. Very moist, with a tunnel of cheese through it, and a very flavorful glaze on top. The top also had raisins and sweet crumbs on it. So... More

My wife and I just happened to be in the neighborhood (AGAIN) so we stopped in and purchased a large piece of coconut, cream and pineapple cake. The cake was very good though not as light as expected. We also purchased and, later shared, a lobster tail which was more crust and less filling than we would have preferred.

Lots of delicious Polish pastries and breads. Rye bread was crusty on the outside but moist and fresh inside. Lighter density rye bread than found in most stores. Very small shop, but friendly Polish and English speaking women. Will go back again!

How dumb is this? We have been living within 10 miles of this bakery since it opened and never ventured through its doorway until recently We have since corrected the error of our ways and are now regulars. Next time you get a hankering for a tiramisu, there is no reason to travel to Franklin Avenue because Kasia's rendition is... More

this is a hands on polish female owned bakery where everything is made from scratch but is never too sweet or powdery or such - excellent pastries - i (assume) she uses cocoas or coffee flavors in lots of her pastries - just simply light and delicious mouth watery baked goods and at very reasonable prices - she also stocks...
