My husband and I are visiting Mstic For a few days. We visited this restaurant yesterday for dinner. Bad move. The restaurant was small, dark and poor lighting. The tables are very close together. The service I will say was very good. However, the food terrible. I had eggplant parm. The noodles were chewy and not cooked well. The dish... More

We have been there several times before and the dinner experience was fine. I dined there tonight and the food and service were horrible. We sat at our table for at least 20 minutes before our waitperson appeared. The salad my wife ordered was never served and the sausage in her meal was overcooked. We had to ask for bread... More

It was the setting and patio that drew us to this restaurant and this part was fine , the food however , was basic , and , while not bad , had nothing to distinguish it from any other Italian restaurant. Pedestrian menu . Check out some of the other places in town

Lunch-good food-overworked service! Sat outside new hostess was oblivious to our drink/food needs. Ok she was new. Food was excellent. Crab burger ummm! Pasta was good. Martinis were excellent.

We had a late dinner here on a Saturday night, managed to get a table straight away even though it was busy. The restaurant is very dark but cute, staff are friendly. I ordered a glass of Merlot & the lamb shank, which was amazing, one of my favorite dishes. My husband ordered the clam pizza & he thoroughly enjoyed... More

Mystic is a tough place to get a table on a Saturday night in the summer. Like others here, we walked over to Anthony J's while waiting for a table at S&P Oyster Co across the street. When the hostess told us it would be 15 minutes wait (as opposed to 90 minutes across the street), we jumped at it.... More

We walked to the restaurant from our hotel for dinner. We were early enough that we were seated right away. There was a large vase filled with flowers on the table. Beautiful yes...but definitely too big for the size of our table. We enjoyed the focaccia and oil to start. We split a casear salad that was large, fresh and... More

After being told that we would have a long wait, we were seated in five minutes. The restaurant seating is limited and small, and they did have several tables outside. But after one bite, you knew it was well worth the wait. The food was terrific, with ample portions.

Busy weekend in Mystic. Shrimp cocktail had very little flavor, charcuterie tray tasted old. Bolognase was ok but the Gorgonzola on top didn't work. Quattro formaggio was dry and bland, disappointed. Service was slow.
