Anthony J's is a small, intimate restaurant with a great menu sure to please. The Happy hour features great discounts on some of the appetizers and is a favorite place of the locals.

Wonderful food and great service every time. Atmosphere is warm, service quite good. This is a very popular place, can be a little noisy (the curse of most restaurants today!), but have never been disappointed. Worth the price.

We chose this at random and had to wait half an hour for a table. But waited at the bar and had a couple of excellent drinks. The tables were maybe a little close together, but not so much that you felt intruded on, but popular restaurants have to pack them in. And this must be popular with locals because... More

Steamer clams and seared scallops called to us and rewarded our tastebuds, washed with a couple of drafts, and quenched our travel weary need for something that felt like home. Pleasant staff and responsive kitchen left us totally satisfied. I don't know if locals eat here, but it felt like they should. I would!

Went here last year and had a great time with a bunch of guys for a Bachelor night. Returned a few weeks ago on vacation...late afternoon early dinner about 4PM...no wait. Not a lot of waiting around here...salads...stone cold from the fridge...arrived before our drinks...bread was good... Lousy Calamari ... breaded and seemed to be sautéed in cold oil...some edges... My husband and I are visiting Mstic For a few days. We visited this restaurant yesterday for dinner. Bad move. The restaurant was small, dark and poor lighting. The tables are very close together. The service I will say was very good. However, the food terrible. I had eggplant parm. The noodles were chewy and not cooked well. The dish... More

We have been there several times before and the dinner experience was fine. I dined there tonight and the food and service were horrible. We sat at our table for at least 20 minutes before our waitperson appeared. The salad my wife ordered was never served and the sausage in her meal was overcooked. We had to ask for bread... More

It was the setting and patio that drew us to this restaurant and this part was fine , the food however , was basic , and , while not bad , had nothing to distinguish it from any other Italian restaurant. Pedestrian menu . Check out some of the other places in town

Lunch-good food-overworked service! Sat outside new hostess was oblivious to our drink/food needs. Ok she was new. Food was excellent. Crab burger ummm! Pasta was good. Martinis were excellent.
