This was a real treat and for lunch at that. Very old Inn with several different eating areas inside and outside. We ate in the Historic Bar. We ordered a nice Chardonnay from the excellent choices available at reasonable prices. Started out with a Lobster Bisque so thick and full of Maine Lobster it was hard to believe. Then a Lobster... At the airport on the way to Hartford from Chicago, I mentioned to a fellow flyer that I was headed to Mystic. He said he went there often and I asked for a restaurant recommendation. He immediately mentioned Latitude 41. As I was looking for the entrance to the restaurant grounds from Mystic Seaport I met the chef, Andrew Fine.... More

We have driven by this restaurant many times and have never stopped to eat, we were surprised at how good the food was and the waitress we had was super. All the other restaurants were busy on Fri night but they got us right in. The noise from the bar area was a little loud.

We made a reservation based on previous reviews. The hostess was attentive, and we were seated quickly outside, as requested. There was a wedding, which impacted the atmosphere with techno music. The service was efficient, and the entrees sounded interesting. My husband's lobster pot pie was quite good, though not to his taste. My halibut was a large portion, cooked... More

Came for a nice seaside dinner on a lovely evening. No one in the restaurant except for a private party in one room. my husband and I ordered lobster bisque and appetizer lobster crepes. Nice waiter. Bisque was not memorial. No lobster, only liquid. Two crepes came. They looked somewhat overcooked. There were three asparagus spears in each crepe. I... More

We spent our last evening in Mystic here after an afternoon enjoying the Seaport. The new outside dining area (well, new to us) was a beautiful location where we could look out at the water and sunset. Lobster salad was a perfect last dinner on the road.

Excellent service. Good but not overly expensive wine list. The chef can modify dishes to suit individual taste. If possible dine outside. The prices are fair for the value.
