The outdoor seating by the water is wonderful. We enjoyed watching the passing scene including the old bridge going up. The food is good and the service also good. The clam chowder is excellent and we both enjoyed the lobster rolls.

Right on the river so you can watch the boats and the people walking by. You can eat inside or outside, they even have heaters for the outside in case it is cool. The food is good and you have many choices. You can’t make reservations but you can get next seating. You may have to wait because it is... More

The location is fantastic, it's right on the Mystic River and there's outdoor seating too. The "call ahead" system is bizarre, you can call ahead a "few days" in advance, but you don't get a reservation, you just get priority on the waitlist. Either have reservations or don't. The person at the host stand was curt and never smiled. Not... More

Food was good but pricey. Had chowder and crab bisque, it was ok. Paid $26 for lobster roll and 3 crab filled ravioli for $22. Had crabmeat for appetizer, Soda and water. Total bill came to $85!? Nice view from the patio. I don't think we will be back. Oh, call ahead or you may be waiting to get a... More

Food was extremely over priced and had no flavor. I'm not sure what everyone else is raving about but I will not be back. We got the S&P seafood pasta and the Ecuadorian slow roasted chicken.. Both were awful! Two stars for the cute interior decor and outside seating right on water.

You must have a reservation especially on the weekends or you will have a long wait. You can eat inside or out. Outside is sitting by the water via nice umbrella tables. Great service and choices of many salads and sandwiches for lunch. There is NO bar here but they do have bar service. Try the Crab Cakes and any... More

We stopped in on Sunday morning and had an early lunch. The food was excellent as was the service. The atmosphere is always wonderful and the view outstanding. We always come here every time we come to Connecticut.

We chose the restaurant based on the location on the river and after looking over the menu. It was a wonderful choice. Since it was very humid the evening we went, we chose to sit inside - upstairs. We were given a table by the window so had a nighttime view of the river. The food and service was excellent.... More
