We made reservations at the DPI (as they call it) about two months in advance, having been disappointed a couple of years ago when we could not get Thanksgiving reservations. We are so, so glad we started early. One of our party of four is in a wheelchair and when I told the reservationist, our choices of sittings was narrowed... More

We came here in the middle of the afternoon for drinks, and sat by the fireplace on the lower level all the way into dinner. The drinks are fantastic, the atmosphere is wonderful, the history of the place is interesting, and even the food was delicious. A definite must if you are visiting Mystic!

Have been here for dinner twice. Has all the charm you could want. The pub is in the basement built around a massive chimney that serves the rest of the inn. Dinning is on the first and second floors. Try to get seated on the first floor. The second floor is fine, and can be quieter than first floor, but... More

The secret to this place is in the basement. That's where the bar area is plus a few tables. Okay, it's not a secret it's always packed, but now you know where all the locals go. The food is also good, try the Ruben sandwich, and the beer selection is even better, Captains Daughter on tap.

Stopped in for lunch at the pub and enjoyed it very much. Great service. Lobster rolls are excellent and the clam chowder was perfect on a cold fall day.

Excellent food and service! The waitress went out of her way to make sure we were happy with our meal. Just be sure to make reservations.

Recently stopped in here for drinks, but will return for dinner soon. We were in the Pub Section, which had a fire in the fireplace, which was so enjoyable. The gal at the bar was friendly and we enjoyed their comp home made popcorn. They serve their martini's in stainless steel martini glasses - which keep the drink nice and... More

Usually a crowded place indicates great food. Not this time -- fried calamari that was really a bowl of fried breadcrumbs. Average burger
