Our first time to Mezza Mediterranean Grill, formerly the Pita Spot. We loved it. So many wonderful flavors with each dish we tasted. Lala was our server, she guided us through the menu and our selections for appetizers and entrees. She was great. The appetizer sampler with falafel, stuffed grapes, hummus, baba ghannouj and tabouli was a great mix to... More

There aren't a lot of tables here but it would be worth a wait to get a spot for the food at Mezza. We had a variety of items and liked them all - a great mix of traditional foods from the middle east. The appetizer sampler was a great introduction to the menu. The chicken Lala had two at... More

First time customer for take out after a long work week - yay, no cooking Friday! Citrus salad, hummus with pita, spinach pie…all 3 choices were fresh and delicious. Hummus was delicious, spinach pie was just right with a nice lemony taste. The pita bread was soft and fresh. Next time I will stay to enjoy the food and the... More

Trying foods from different cultures is always a treat but our meal at Mezza was amazing. We had meat pie, spinach pie, shankleesh pita, Lala chicken, ashta and two mixed fruity drinks. Everything was excellent! The staff were friendly, explained what the foods were and made suggestions. Would definitely recommend a visit to Mezza (formerly the Pita Spot).

We have been several times since opening couple of years ago , when it used to be called "Pita place", and always enjoyed their food. The humus and the falafel are as good as you can get out of Beirut or Tel Aviv. Plenty of vegetarian choices and also some good and some just ok meat dishes. One critique is... More

This place is wonderful! It's my favorite restaurant in Mystic! Everything is always fresh and full of flavor. It's a great spot when eating out with people that are vegan, gluten-free or meat-eaters. There's something for everyone. The wait staff is friendly and welcoming and will explain the menu and what might work for your particular tastes. Delicious! So grateful... More

My family has enjoyed Mezza (formerly The Pita Spot) for years. It is simply one of our favorite restaurants. I am of Lebanese decent and have high expectations of Lebanese cuisine. I can honestly say, this is some of the best Lebanese food you will ever eat. We always start the meal with the baba ghanoush, a dip (it's more... More

Everything that we had was excellent. All dishes were fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. Our server Liz was wonderful with terrific suggestions. The owner Vivian stopped by our table to ensure that everything was perfect. We especially enjoyed the arugala & goat cheese salad with La La chicken, the falafel, the tabouli, and the hummus. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our dinner at mezza. The staff was pleasant and helpful with recommendations and were never over attentive or absent. The atmosphere was warm but not fancy or casual- somewhere in between. We tried the lentil soup and warm moussaka to start. Both were very good. We had the chicken shawarma and fiery falafel wrap for our entrees.... More

Was surprised to find a Lebanese joint in Mystic Conneticut. I ordered the Kofta Kabob as a platter and they gave me a Schwarma. The actual meat was a small portion with the Schwarma mostly filled with grilled vegetables. Grape leaves average. I've had better at whole foods. The Hummus was delicious. I did order a side of garlic sauce.... More
