The buffet has a excellent variety - for both vegetarian and non-vegetarians. Food was hot, fresh and flavorful. Mix of north and south Indian specialties.

They offer ~12-15 individual dishes as their buffet. A lot of vegetarian and 3 with chicken. Overall quality and flavors were good and of course you can each as much as you want. The price was under $10 so provides excellent value. The interior is...a little dark and could do with better lighting. Overall I would recommend.More

Very authentic South Indian styled restaurant and food with great taste and quality. Taste is consistent and good place to have vegetarian food. Dosas, Upma, idli, vada and appetizers are great

Truly homemade authentic Indian food. We came here last year after the Milford Oyster feast and again this year, this will be our annual tradition. The food speaks for its self fresh full of flavor and delicious. One sure way to tell how great of...a restaurant this is that most of the patrons are from that region. I highly recommend trying this restaurant it is one if not the best in the stateMore

A good place to enjoy tasty Indian food. Food quality and prices are better than some more expansive Indian restaurants here in CT. We have visited 4 times by now and notice a minor problem last time only. Papadam chutney seems more watery than before.

I have visited Brindavan multiple times.3-4 times for weekend buffets.Variety of biriyanis, vegetarian and non-veg options are outstanding. They also bring freshly made dosas to the table. Probably the best option in New haven and Milford. Later, I went for dinner and have tried out...their dosa, chilli chicken and parotta. It is authentic and nicely spiced. I found the staff to be friendly and accommodative. Only problem I found was the service. If you advertise that the duration of lunch buffet is for a certain time, food should be available for the entire duration. On a couple of occasions, I found customers pretty unhappy about the fact that several items on the buffet were over well before the advertised time of the buffet and noticed customers forming long lines or waiting for food. I believe the management and the kitchen staff are not able to handle the influx of customers.More

Servers do not smile, can be rude, can take 10 mins to bring a glass of water. I asked extra additional order of Mango Lassi and the server never came back. I had to ask another server and then i got my mango lassi. BTW,...there were only 7 customers in total and 4 servers so it was not like they were super busy. Good - food is really good and i was surprised to eat here as didn't expect the only Indian restaurant in Milford to be that good in food preparations. Ambiance - decent, there is some odor but ignorable. Carpets need cleaning so don't let your kids follow 5-second rule here.More
