We go there several times. Pizza is delicious. Not overly thick or thin. Has a nice crunch to it. The prices are like the rest of the pizza parlors. They only serve Pizza and salad. They serve no other foods. So if you just want...pizza I would suggest to try their pizza. They get very busy. You seat yourself and the service is very good.More
When I drive down from Maine to Connecticut, the first thing I say to my daughter, "Let's order pizza"! Dom and Vinnie's pizza is the best! I am partial to the all vegetable pizza, but end up sharing with family as well as they share...with me. We usually get three large, veggie, pineapple, and loaded with everything! The crust isn't thick so you have a good meal with the toppings. Best ever! If you are driving down 84 stop off and pick one up on your way to where ever, it's not far from the freeway and worth the stop! And, btw, expensive? Oh, please. You get what you pay for, excellence is worth every penny!More
First, I really do enjoy their pizza. The pepperoni is nice and spicy, the crust is crisp, and the sauce is great. The reason for the 2 stars is because of their prices. D and V’s costs probably 25-30% than anything else in the area....Yes, the food is good but not worth the cost.More

Thank you for your review. Yes our price is a little higher but our pizza is also bigger than everyone else pizza. Our large is 20 inches 16 slices also we use higher end ingredients.
This is the best Pizza by far. If you go in and eat, you can count all the Pizza that are carried out (at least 90 in an hour) It makes you realize they are so delicious. There is not anyone who makes Pizza like...them.More
I consider myself a pizza connoisseur. My wife and I have eaten at Pepe's, Roselands, Modern and all the rest and we both love Vinnie's the best. Might not be for everyone, burnt thin crust, but we love it.
Best pizza hands down. They will make any kind, thick, thin, well done, anything you want. Fresh dough made twice a day, homemade sauce, meatballs and sausage. Always greeted with a smile, servers are awesome, counter people and pizza makers have it down to a...science!More

I have heard about this place being similar to Modern Pizza in New Haven and I was terribly disappointed -the pizza was not like anything I have ever had, Once was enough for me. The pizza was not thin crust even though I asked and...then the crust itself was dry and tasted like soda bread. Sorry-we will never go back. Give me Modern, Pepe's or even Pizza House in Bristol and I will be happy and satisfied!More
Anyone that lives within a ten mile radius of any of the three Domenic & Vinnie's locations will most likely say it's their favorite pizza place. Waterbury, Middlebury and Southington locations are all great. When my family is in town from South Carolina they make...it a point to go to Domenic and Vinnie's and they usually take a pie home with them. My favorite pizza is the Sausage and Hot Cherry Peppers but every combination they make are very good. Bring cash because they don't accept credit cards.More
