Disappointing breakfast

The waitress threw the dirty, sticky bottle of syrup down on the table, never gave us water after we asked for it, and quietly placed the bill on the table without thanking us or asking if we would like anything else. The food was cold. Cold eggs happen to be the most unappetizing things to eat! The French toast was also cold. I will not be returning!

Beware that if you pay with a credit card at this restaurant they will add a 4% charge to your bill.I have been in the restaurant business fo 50 years and never seen anything like this. Now I know why we were the only people there at 9 am. save your money and go elsewhere

This restaurant was recommended by our lodging host so we tried it. My son had a Mickey Mouse pancake that was ok but didn't look much like Mickey. The eggs tasted good but the toast and home fries were burnt. The server didn't seem to notice. She was attentive and nice. This place wouldn't be on the top of my list to try for breakfast.

we went there for thanksgiving and the food was so good. had prime rib and it was the best that we ever had,cooked the way that we wanted it...plus baked stuffed shrimp,stuffed filet of sole and all of the fixings,,,was so very,very good,,staff is very nice and very polite,,,will go back...

Catching a lunch with former coworkers.

Afew friends wanted to get together fir lunch. And 2 are gluten free ppl so because I knew green olive had an extensive gluten free menu - we all met there The waitress served us promptly. And the food came out pretty quickly One person had the southwest taco salad it was humongous! One person had a gluten free calzone with vegetables. One person had the gluten free southwestern wrap - all huge- I had an eggplant grinder. Everything was very good - and we all took some of it home ! They were so excited to find a place with so many gluten free items on the menu - so we made a promise to once a month - we meet there for lunch!

Quick meal at local restaurant

Looking for a quick place to stop for lunch without leaving town and was disappointed for the 2nd time. The entire floor, the booth and window ledge were full of old food bits. We visited mid afternoon when the restaurant wasn’t busy; the appearance of the dining area caused me to question the cleanliness of the kitchen. The gentleman (not sure if a manager or owner) at the cash register was impolite when we asked a question and there was no attempt to thank us for coming or ask how everything was. The dining room was also quite warm Which also took away from the enjoyment of the meal. The food was fine (eggs, pancakes). I probably won’t return since this is my 2nd bad experience.

Really Good Gluten Free Menu

Wow what a delicious menu. Ate here twice with family with Celiac Disease. Pizzas, calzone, chicken parmesan, chicken tenders,turkey club. Clean, owner in kitchen, service good. Extensive menu for gluten free. Liked it better than George's and Shoreline. No one got sick three times.

Maybe Just a Bad Day?

My husband and I stopped in while driving through Meriden on Memorial Day. The menu was extensive, and we had high hopes, as we love Greek diners. Unfortunately, our server, Karen, couldn't seem to get our order correct. I specified the spinach pie from the appetizer menu, because I didn't want the Greek salad which came with the dinner portion. However, she brought the dinner portion to the table. The Greek salad contained stuffed fig leaves, olives, feta cheese and some sort of bottled Italian-type dressing on the side. My husband requested the split pea soup, and after 15 minutes, she informed him the kitchen had run out. She gave him another choice of soup, chicken with noodles, but he was actually served chicken with barley. On the upside, his BLT was fine and the cole slaw side dish was crisp and fresh and my spinach pie had a nice ratio of feta to spinach and the phyllo layers were flaky. About halfway through the meal, she came to refresh my coffee. She started pouring from a carafe of regular coffee and when I reminded her it was decaf, she left and didn't come back with decaf nor did she remove the cup. When we finished the meal, she returned to plop the check on the table, never asking if we wanted to order dessert. In short, it was not a welcoming experience and we'll stop elsewhere when traveling through the area.

Very disappointed

We went for dinner and we didn't like our meals. The veal parm had little flavor The baked stuffed shrimp (early bird dinner) had two tiny shrimp and no melted butter wasn't provided and when we asked for it we were told that they don't do that. No bread or rolls were provided like most other restaurants Will not return

I go there about every other week; either for dinner or lunch, sometimes breakfast. The waitresses are always very friendly and take your order a quickly as possible.The food never disappoints me or my mother-in-law. Coffee and sodas are always refilled promptly. The pizza is put of this world and the prime rib is delicious and humongous.Love it.

Reasonable Place for Lunch

Had lunch here as it was convenient to our shopping trip. It is on the main highway RT 5 in a strip mall. The food was fine for all our party, although it took a while to get it, even though the place was not crowded. The waitress was diligent at keeping our drinks topped off. It was a decent meal in a decent place

Do not eat here! We were seated in the corner, away from the main dining area, within listen distance to kitchen and waitresses complaints. It was 20 minutes before our drink order was taken by a heavily sweating waitress. 20 min later my forgotten soup came out only to be followed immediately by our dinner. No drink were filled through our our meal. To add to the awesomeness of this place, we were billed $1.75 For a tablespoon of ranch dressing and $2.75 for our 1,4oz soda... they over priced, food s bland and terrible and the service is horrible.
