Sweet Sausage Grinder Like the Good Ol Days

We went for a late lunch. Had a bowl of N.England clam chowder that was quite good($4). Also enjoyed a sweet sausage and pepper grinder with melted cheese. So good! It was slightly pressed (panini style) ($6)? which enhanced the experience. Locally made soda finished our enjoyment.

The food is good, the service excellent and it's a nice break form all the chains permeating the area. (They just opened up a McD across the street!) You can go next door and for more money, get an egg croissant OR you can drive up to Augie's window and order two fried eggs with bacon and cheese on a... More

This is one of those places you go just to load up on calories. The food, as long as you know what to expect, is pretty good. It's better than fast food and the portions are big enough to share, for lunch.

Was looking for a different place to get a couple of Hot Dogs so I decided to drive over here during lunch. Place was empty which always makes me sad, Its a shame people rush to the homogenized chain and franchise places instead of supporting the local guys. Lady behind the counter was very nice and I ordered a couple... More

I have had breakfast here, occasionally, for several years. The building is unimpressive but the food is very good, it is done to order, and very tasty. A chain operation is next door. Augies is much better.I am going for the lunch, soon

During some stays in Studio 6 hotel I enjoy eating breakfast with my wife at this litter family dinner. Food is done fast and as wanted. Very good prices. And they also offer lunch but never had it.

Great family owned restaurant. Excellent food, fast friendly service. Brings you back to a simpler time and reminds you of how nice small town Manchester can be. Try the chili cheese dog, you would be hard pressed to find better. And dont forget to grab a Hosmers soda to wash it down. A local treat!

They have great hot dogs! Any time of the year! It's a diner style and friendly staff even though it needs a makeover inside. It's near to Pratt and Whitney in EH.
