We haven't been here in a long time and decided to go for dinner since we had other business in Madison. First, the service was wonderful and attentive. We each started with salads that were good, but pricey for what we received. My wife had the salmon and loved it. I had the striped bass special, which was good, but... More

On my way back from visiting the UU church in Madison, CT., I wanted to find a nice place for brunch - and I did! Elizabeth's Cafe is cozy cheque. Small enough to be intimate, but very friendly. I had an omlet with asparagus, tomato, and goat cheese, and it was luscious, and not TOO big (sometimes omlet can be... More

One of the worst meals out in a long time. There were six of us, and only one person said their there meal was good. Four fish dinners and one chicken. The three folks who had Salmon asked for it cooked medium rare. It was well done, dried out and had been sitting under a heat lamp. The scallops were... More

We eat out a lot and love to try new places, but Elizabeths has gradually become our "go to" local restaurant when we have out of town visitors, or just want to treat ourselves as we did last night. It never disappoints. There are several other very good restaurants in town, but they can't compete on atmosphere. It is always... More

The small dining room is well served by the artful and delicious food from the folks in the kitchen who take pride in their work. I've hosted several lunches for friends and each has been delicious. Some of my go-to items include the salmon sandwich and the salads

We've been cherishing Perfect Parties for years--it has always had excellent food served by a professional staff in a warm, cozy setting. But the other night we had three pasta dishes (all for take-out) and one of them went straight to the garbage after just a few bites: the shrimp had gone bad and was disgusting and inedible. The papardelle... More

We're looking for dinner and found this place. Absolutely wonderful. I had the mussels appetizer in white broth and risotto with crab. My wife had the wonton chips and bolognese. Both meals were delicious. A bit pricey but worth it.

Good service, good food! Unique setting and comfy cushioned seating. Menu changes weekly offering local food. Very attentive waitress and staff. Dinner came out promptly and hot!

Tables that are crammed within inches of each other, noise levels so high it is hard to carry on a conversation without shouting are the negatives here. The food and the service is above average with prices to match. Not a place for young children. What ever you order you will find unusual and very tasty and the wait staff... More

Excellent fresh and local inspired meals. I had a salmon that was cooked perfectly medium rare served over creamy potato bits with roasted carrots paired with the perfect dry Rose recommended by the owner! It was a wonderful experience I felt satisfied and happy to know such a quality place exists. Casual and formal setting with a menu to please... More
